That p1000 is a sweet camera.

The problem with this line of thinking is that sometimes some of these so called rights should have never been allowed in hunting in the first place. Take infrared technology for example when it first came out people were using it for hunting until it got banned. Would hunting with an infrared scope be considered one of these rights that have been taking away from us hunters? I would say no. Hunting rights should be inherited not invented.

My solo thrilling, frustrating and exciting hunt!

Dang! Losing a giant buck and a pair of Swaros in the same night might have caused a lesser man to call it quits. Great job sticking it out and tagging one great looking buck! -
Sweet! You punched your tag on a dandy!
-
Cool congrats on your 1st coues. Those early hunts can get pretty dang hot.
-
Congrats to the wife. Big or small seems like she's always filling her tags.

Have you looked into the one Ryan Hatch from Muley Crazy sells. Its a bit pricey but looks pretty sweet. -
I vaguely remember him posting about it here on CW. If I remember right he was in the 3rd grade and something about being uphill both ways.🤣

Pretty cool. Did that bottom one really say you could but a car with cash, credit or cotton? Cotton??? Really? Wonder how many bails a car costed back in the day. It's amazing how much things have changed since then.

Bipod Height for Southern Units

Been hunting down south in the tall grass for about the last 15 years now. Since then I've had nothing but trouble trying to shoot prone in this grass. Could be just me but most of my shots I have to take sitting. I don't know much about bipods but if it were me I'd choose one that was tall enough to use in the seated position just in case. Good luck. -
Awesome! Congrats all around!

With some of the youth hunts starting this week I wanted to share a video of my daughter's hunt from back in 2018. I've been hunting all my life and hunting with my kids is definitely my favorite. Hope this gets some of you excited for the up coming deer season and good luck to all the youth hunters this weekend!

Dang! It always amazes me when pieces of broken off antlers are found in these guys. So cool congrats!

Same two bucks with two more little guys.

Thanks! I agree hunting with my two young ladies have been nothing but awesome so far. I just hope they still want to hunt with dad the older they get. Thank you! She definitely gets her shooting skills from her mom. I would have missed that shot at least a couple times before connecting. Good luck on your son's hunt!

Thanks my fellow coues brother. I love hunting with my girls. Pretty sure I mentioned this somewhere but I got three of them with tags this year plus the wife and I. Going to be hunting with a 15 year old a 12 and a 10 should be a fun year. I'm pretty sure you'll do fine in the heat of the moment unless your an idiot like me but I don't think that's the case. Pretty sure your nickname around the hunting community is "The Iceman!" Thanks. Ain't nobody want a part of my special Cajun seasoning! Especially my salami flavored one😆 Thank you! 2 deer down by the age of 12 sounds like your girls doing pretty good so far. I've been in 35b a few times but never hunted there. Looks like some awesome country. Good luck!

Sounds like my uncle. Minus the bumper sticker. He hates bumper stickers.

Hi, my name's Joe and I'm a road hunter. It's been 3 days since my last road hunt. Some days are better than others but today has been a tough one because all I can think of is cruising around in my truck looking for deer sipping back on a Dr. Pepper while listening to some Jon Pardi, Luke Combs and Midland. heck I might even through in a little 311 just to mix it up a bit. As much as I try there's no use fighting it I'm a born and raised roadhuntin fool.

Way to hang in there and get done young man! Good luck on the rest of your AZ big 10 quest. These hunting with kids posts are definitely some of my favorites. Thanks for sharing it with us!

It's actually almost a perfect spot. Only down side is the hill the bucks are on is visible from a road. Other than that it's a great location to kill a big buck. Now just if they stay put until Nov and someone else doesn't beat us to them.

To be clear I was curious about the color of a bucks velvet and if the color of his fur has anything to do with the color of his velvet. After reading the article in Outdoor Writer's link I didn't see anything in there about the color of a bucks velvet. I'll have to reread it just incase I missed something.
