Awesome buck young man! From Creed's description sounds like the future of hunting is in good hands with this young hunter. It's always good to see that there are young hunters out there like him.

What a great looking coues! I really like the side view of your buck. Hard to beat hunting with family. Even though we didn't kill much some of my best hunting memories are the ones hunting with my dad. Congrats to you and your dad!

This is by no means an insult to the guys who suggested this but I'm having a hard time seeing how a change in the current bonus system could in anyway help increase animal numbers. Every other suggestion made I can see how it might help increase our herds but the bonus point system change has me stumped. I would also like to add this hypothetical thought if the G&F does in fact lower the tag numbers and raise the cost of said tags then how long would it take until they raise the tag numbers back up but keep the higher price of the tags? I can see how a drastic increase in tag costs like this could cause more bad than good especially for your run of the mill common hunter that have a hard enough time as it is forking down the cash for a tag at current prices.

Being only 3 hours from Tucson you might want to check with the rancher and see if he's OK with you going down and scouting the ranch before you fork down any cash. All the ranches I've been to allowed us to come down and check out the ranch before purchasing the tags. Plus it's also good to drive down before hand to learn the roads, meet the ranchers/locals and what not if you haven't already. If it's a good ranch that's seem like a good deal.

Congrats on filling your tag. Really enjoyed the video. Lots of great footage most of which was actually of the animals you were hunting and not the usual filler footage of trees, rocks or hunters driving in their trucks. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the info guys. I thought I wanted to hunt muleys this year but lately I've came down with a serious case of coues fever. O well at least the wife got a coues tag. Now if I can just convince her to let me go with her
