yes you can carry a hand gun on an archery hunt R12-4-216. an individual participating in an archery-only season may carry a handgun for personal protection providing the barrel does not exceed 6" in lenth..also see R12-4-304,R12-4-318. No worries any more.mike

jeff.I did not think you were going to post.those 2 bucks are awesome I was able to put my hand around those great deer,a few days after they took them.I talked to jeff every other day since july and received updated photo weekly.I would guess he has 300+ hours of pre-season scouting and many $'$$$$s invested.that shows if you put the time in good things will happen. thanks again buddy for letting us stay at your home for the second weekend of deer.your a great host mike.bowhunter4life
