Please see below for the units needed, as CHA is the host organization. CHA will be hosting our annual Mentored Javelina Hunt in February and we are currently working with the AZ Elk Society - Heros Rising Outdoors/Hunts for Heros program to have five female wounded warriors in our camp. This will require five permit holders for the general javelina season in unit(s) 19A, 20A or 21 to donate there tags for the wounded warriors. (Hunt date: 2/22/19 - 2/24/19. Hunt #s 5006,5008 & 5011) CHA has been able to donate many tags to this awesome program in the past and we are hoping that some of you that have tags would be willing to give them up to support these incredible ladies that put their lives on the line and were injured serving our country.

Mathews, It is very disheartening that you are attacking a disabled veteran. My simple question to you, have you personally taken a wounded veteran out through one of the tag donation processes? Have you contacted each organization to fully understand the processes and procedures for one to obtain a donated tag? I bet not, so my challenge to you is to get involved, understand it and start helping our men and women who scarified to allow us the freedoms we have. All of the organizations are in need of mentors to take these fine individuals out. I have been part of hunts with all three organizations and all are worthy of partnering with. https://arizonaelksociety.org/hunts-for-heroes http://www.outdoorexperienceforall.org/get-involved/ http://huntofalifetime.org/ (this organization is only for kids with life threatening illness or life threating disability.) By the way, I would suggest a little research on the following, as through the tag donations process Hipaa laws play an essential part of the qualification processes. https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/guidance-materials-for-consumers/index.html Hope you get inspired to get out and give back, Mike Javeliasports, Thank you for giving to a worthy organization, one of our hero's will be blessed by it! Mike

*Bull Elk Blessing from donated tag, oh wait... aka Casey's favortism conspiracy theory post.
bowhunter4life replied to hoghntr's topic in Elk Hunting
Correct, when my son was in treatment and doing chemo and radiation for his cancer. He qualified for a tag donation, and received three tags before turning 18. He is now healthy and doing amazing now, for Gods glory! I will tell you this, my question for all of those questioning the tag donations.... Would you give up your health and ability to do as you please to become highly disabled through the military or have your son or daughter to have a terminal disease? Of course not, in the big scheme of life, hunting is just a by product of our enjoyment! So amazing to me, how personal people get when someone they do not know, donates their tag to a worthy cause. Please see the following link for qualifications. http://www.outdoorexperienceforall.org/ -
very nicely done!

-
I have an extra one still the bag, if you truly want one?

Glad your okay and was able to return with harvesting a quality bull!

Casey, What’s interesting is your only comments are to gain infomation to perform critical judgement towards an individual who sacrificed his life within the Navy to protect all Americans health and welfare. Now, he is paying the ultimate price with his heath conditions! And you so worried if he drew the tag and or was a recipient of a donation? Why???Truly, very sad, how about giving the guy a complement? Mike

Congrats Bryan, well deserved!

Dove hunt, private dairy Phoenix
bowhunter4life posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I am helping to raise money for a local High School basketball team. This will allow you to hunt dove within a private dairy during the September dove season. Lot and lots of dove with only a few individuals allowed for access. This will be good for a party of 4 individuals for $300 for the whole season. PM if you have interest. Thanks, Mike -
I too hate cancer! My son also had stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma, at 17. He 3 years removed and doing incredible! Will pray Gods grace and hand of protection through complete healing without side effects! Mike
