guys, 2 questions for you all. I've been watching this buck for the last 3 months. go figure! I had no tag this year, it's been tough. 1st what does he score. 2nd My son has his 1st deer tag this year, he's 10, would you let him take this buck for his 1st deer hunt? or wait tell jan,

it is great to see all the stand up guys. putting there kids first! I have told him, he gets to say "when " what ever buck we find and he wants to shoot, then he will shoot, if it is a spike or "top hat" the big buck. that is his decision. thanks for the help. this is a buck of a lifetime. I know many guys that go to mexico and dream of finding a buck of this caliber.

well. gamehauler, let's just say this buck is way south of ya and has a # 3 as part of the unit not sure if she has that unit. these are a few night pictures. I did not show day pictures do to the area he is in . thanks for the imput.mike

23 is only a good unit if you put the time in. it is some rough country. be prepared for miles of glassing and hicking,anywere east of the big lake is a good start.

All we are asking is for the game and fish make maditory check in, so we will have facts. At both meetings, I went to this year they used "best guess method " to make there agenda, using the 25%-35% return cards to make there guidlines. that is wrong! this would also help our hard working wildlife managers job much easery if they had hard facts from all hunters in there unit. Also you would think they would take imput and use it from our hunting clubs, I.E az elk,az deer, a.b.a. d.c.a sheep,az wildlife, r.m.f, antelope,varmit callers and many others, these clubs raise millions dollars every year to support g and f and to give back to our wildlife. many of us are members to these clubs and support there cause. mike

I've sent them in for as long as I remember, but today after what they pulled with our archery deer tags and what they want to do with archery elk, ( move 1/2 of tags to november ) we had close to 50 hunters at the flagstaff meeting, not one of the " comish " batted an eye for what az hunters want. I was told that one " comish " made the statement " we are just tired, we have been here for 4 days setting game regs." I'm sorry I throught this was your job ! you asked and were given the responsiblity. the bad news it appears Lenard " game chief " has an agenda " he does not like archery hunters

well only had a turkey tag this year and a bear tag,while still hunting a ridge looking for turkey, The brush in front of me was shaking pretty good. first thought was an elk tearing up a tree. as I got to 15 yards a 200-225 black bear raised up on his hind legs ; looking eye to eye wow what a site! of course the season was closed a week earlier what a rush. the next morning 1/2 hour after day light I took this little guy. it is awesome to get out in Gods great country.mike
