It was an awesome time hunting for pigs and coues deer this weekend, great shot, what did he go 15 yards I'm still amazed he was 49 pounds with only cape and carcas.

What happen to the icon on the bottom of caseys post that said mexico 100" or nothin. hummmmmm looks like he may need to shoot another one to get to 100". not sure if both those bucks he shot in the last month would make 100"

Well I could not think of a better way to post my 1000th post here on this site. Troy your dedication and "true love" of hunting has me look in the mirror and say wow! . to have your great attitude and williness to put in the time and effort and to never complain. sure gives me motivation to push on and to have the never give up mentality while hunting ! In the past 2 years for an 11 year old to harvest 2 javelinas,coues buck and a tom turkey.................I think we may have the next " chuck adams " on hand and it is awesome to see you grow into a fine young man! we'll see you on your turkey hunt mike

I thought I would also show my 08 javi. this year was a blast I had my 10 year old son with me and gave him the cam recorder. He did a great job of filming and he was able to watch it all unfold. God sure new what he was doing when he made javelina for bowhunting.

that is plain wrong those bucks are what dreams are made of! I would bet they will have some new bucks running for the money in the next 2 weeks from you guys!

It seems like you are a very " I " person, it should not matter with HIS story that at some point you were with him and happen to glass that buck up a week before while sitting with john.The way I see it, for him to go back down and put the time and effort in to take a buck of the caliber says something about his hunt ethic. just my 2 cents from looking at it from a distance and reading your post. if your looking for an "adda boy" here it is, good job for glassing that buck 1 weeks before and for taking a buck your self ............

she can apply when she is 9 but if she is not drawn no bonus point will be given becouse she has to be ten at the time of the draw.she also has to be 10 at the day of the last class from the hunter ed. I would recommend go ahead and let her go through the class even if she is not 10 yet and then have her take the new one line class after she turns ten. hope this helps ?

well I've been dragging my feet about going to the b.p.s. sounds like it has been a good thing, it's been a little tough due to Cabelas 2 miles from the house.

I've been making ours you a few years, add 1/3 rd pork butt to what ever amout of meat you decide to use. you can use pre pack spices from local stores or make your own, to start it is good to use 1/2 of store bought and add your own for your liking. try jerkey mix, we will add fresh peppers,garlic and some seasoning salt. plus a little of this and a little of that it come down to the flavor you like. for 6 pounds of summer boil for 1 hour smoke in a outdoor or indoor smoker 1 hour for brat's same steps but no boiling or smoking. every year we throw a grinding-sausage making party everybody brings there scraps and eating begins. we made it to 3:00 am last year...................once you start you will never have a commercial maker touch you harvest again.

well just got back from my sons first deer hunt. he turned 10 in sept. well he now has the fever after missing 3 shots at 2, 85" bucks. I messed up a little, I think I had it worse then him, I should of calmed him down he got buck fever, " as he said his heart pounding out of his chest" well after buck fever on friday and saturday he took this fine first coues sunday moring, you would of though it was an 120" coues. he was so pleased. even after missing 2 awesome bucks earlyer.you have to love a 15" coues. "well maybe 9" " what an awesome weekend!
