[ I would think all of you would realize the amount of time it would take to answer all the questions in just this thread alone. I can't imagine an AGFD employee having enough "extra" time to answer all the questions. Hopefully we can get some answers, but please guys, if you want AGFD to come here, try and make it a more welcoming environment...even if you can't stand the policies being considered. Also, I suggest you submit your questions in writing to the dept as well as posting in the forum. I think they actually do have to address public comments received officially. I am also a goverment employee. our first obligation is to typically respect the public and to lead the public into getting the right answer to there questions since most tax payers or the public are " paying us to serve them." Also when I went through the hunter saftey course with my son, the g-f officer there stated 1/2 of there duty's is advising the public, " going to schools, ansering phone calls and replying to letters. As a FWI at the G-F meeting in Casa Grand on Friday. Not one game and fish person responded to us when we asked allot of these same questions, I also know over 100 people that have sent letters but only to have a response stating it is under the review process. The only words after Randy spoke on friday was thank you, next! It just seem every year we keep loosing more and more quality hunting, ways of hunting. we lost trapping and 3 months of lion hunting due to " giving in to peta, many rifle dec. tags, trying to take away our sept. bull tags moving them to nov. and now they are taking away a major type of hunting from hunters. we would be more willing to understand if they would simply give us the facts and be upfront about it, like letting this out a week before the meeting last week. It is hard to understand, when I had a face to face talk with the big game chief a few months earlier and he told me baiting,salt was not a problem. If you look at this years success for archery it is at it's lowest in many years and we have also lost many december hunts. so does this mean we get them back plus does our draw units go back to over the counter? For Me I'm just looking for truthful answers. If any g-f person I made you feel unwelcome to reply. I'm sorry! just looking for truthful facts, thank you again Amanda! I'm thinking this one's a done deal. Just like the opportunity versus quality thing. The commission has there mind made up and isn't concerned what the hunters think. They refuse to use good data, they refuse to use equal data, and they refuse to listen to what hunters really want. yes we still have our right to respond! when it goes to be signed as a bill. they must look at the public imput, send them letters!

I would usually agree with you about it being a done deal. BUT, more than any G&F issue in the past few years, this seems to me to be generating the most controversy. On this thread, lets start to try to put together a email address list of all the appropriate people to complain to. ( G&F and state government) AND I MEAN COMPLAIN! I truly think that we just might have enough hunters angry about this issue that we may be able stop this one from being rammed down our throats. I'll get the email list started: BWakeling@azgfd.gov (Brian Wakeling) AMunig@azgfd.gov (Amber Munig) ccook@azgfd.gov (Celeste Cook) Rulemaking@azgfd.gov Let's all contribute any worthwhile email address to this thread. In a week or so, we can all fire off our opposition to everyone on the list. Does anyone have email addresses to any of the commissioners, Mr. Napy, or our soon to be new governor? Let's make enough noise that they have to grease this squeaky wheel! In the mean time, start working on your letters. You guys that don't bait but hunt water, don't think that this issue won't effect you. If bait is banned, a whole bunch of former baiters will probably be showing up to "your" water hole to hunt. Guys, I just got back from ross outdoors, this was my first time getting to know the staff. I was very impressed!!!!! they are all class act type of people and they are very caring for each customer. while sitting back and watching there actions, I could not help but notice the passion they have for each customer providing top notch customer service and an attitude to make everybody feel like they were important! Oh by the way. I think they gave away more stuff today then I have seen at hunting banquets that cost $50 a head. Thank you, RossOutdoors for at great time today and the bow I won, on one of the raffles! mike

I heard " the commissioners never responded to any person that spoke about the salt, baiting issue". they only said Thank you at the end. It will go through to the 30 day public imput period. ALL WE CAN DO IS FLOOD THE GOVENERS OFFICE WITH E-MAILS, PHONE CALLS AND THE AZGFD MAIL AND ALSO OUR SENETORS,HOUSE REPS. This will be a new law so it has to go through the public imput through the az govoners office. I would say send daily e-mails, phone calls or IT WILL BE CHANGED FOR THE MAY-JUNE HUNTING REGS. again this is another classic case of our AZGFD doing what ever they want with out the TRUE facts. if you noticed they never ansered any of our questions when mr. Day posted a few days ago.
