look for sign, I typically set up were 2 or 3 trails come together. most of the time the trails are faint and you will miss them if you are not looking for them. good luck

I'm with Mike, I have taken 12 in a row and love to "eat the meat". It is all in what you do when you harvest them!

if g&f gave permits to hunt elk in July in Yuma, guys would put in for them. Just remember. We are going to loose more tags to hunt the rut. If they take 100 tags from the rut they can double them and make 200 tags for nov hunts. Remember when this happens this will no longer be a hunt like now when there is lack of hunters. It will be like all the mass of rifle deer tags we have seen over the last few years. Hunters everywere with a very low success. today we have 25 tags for each unit. in 2 years there will be 250 tags in each unit for the Nov. hunt. This will now be a 3-5 year wait to hunt a horrible hunt and now a 10-12 year wait to hunt the rut due to 1/2 of the tags being reassigned to the nov. time. Guys just look at all the december whitetail hunts we have lost and now we have 3 hunts with mass hunters in all our awesome coues country.................. When this happens don't sit here and wine and cry. you had the chance to let G&F know how you feel. The good news is G &F is awesome to let us send letters and show up at these meetings and listen to the paying customer.. Let your voices be heard!

try some icc 400 grain with a 100 grain tip, like others stated make sure your bow is tuned. if your near cabelas I could give you some help as I live in the hood.

Your right there is never an excuse when accidents happen. He did the right thing and put the extra effort to be honost and lead by example. Now my personnel opinion is we should outlaw outfitters, all they do is provide killing opportunity for hunters that do not want to put in there own time and just want to pay a fee and have some other person point out to them what animal to pull the trigger on. Most outfitters want a slam dunk hunt and make a bunch of money off az wildlife....... Then post a picture with the critter and state" look what I done". The exception is I do know a few that truly care and are the exception like we have on this site, Lance, Jim,Geno and a few others! I respect when someone humbles them selve to let others learn from there mistake. Hunter your Dad did the right thing and you should be proud to have a dad like him!
