Find a bow you have confidence in, shoot all distances. most carbon arrows with a 100 grain fixed blade will work. make sure to practice with your hunting set up, shoot your broadhead setup daily and before you go out into the field replace the blades with new razor sharp blades. try icc 340 grain arrows with a 100 grain muzzy, shoot 58-65 pound and you will be fine. have a minimum 20, 30 and 40 yard pin but make sure you can shoot consistant at those distances, one step by an elk and he just moved 3' the most important part is to practice shooting, shoot some more then shoot some more.

The weekend is almost over

After a 6 year quest I finaly took my 1st lion this morning. She was 98 pounds 2 1/2-3 years old. It is an unreal feeling when you have a lion in a tree hissing and and just plain pissed off!
