Mr Wakeling, I noticed for the over the counter youth turkey hunt that it does not show a 5a opportunity. but in your comments you state that 5a is an over the counter tag. Is this true? Thank you Mike

I have seen bucks grow 2-3 " of tine lenth from 1st of sept intel the 3rd week of sept. Most bucks are clean by the 20th of september. If you shot one opening week of archery that buck lost the potential to grow another 3 weeks.

Very good advice, The other guy may of thought someone stopped using it with the condition he found it. I have found if you do not stay on top of keeping salt fresh "every 4-5 months" they appear to look old and run down. I would also leave a note with a cam.

I think he looks great, again these are summer bucks, it is amazing ho much they change when the rifle hunts start. I think your taxidermist did a great job! this is my 08 buck, same qualities as your summer buck.

Thanks for the imput, we will be down there Oct 22nd. I was not sure if the ruby road was a high traffic area and was ok to camp along it without issues.

I have a 2 year old Moultrie D-40. This cam uses 6 "D" batteries. It will take roughly 1500-1800 digital pictures. It is 2 1/2 years old. The front screen that shows date, pictures is worn, this does not effect pictures, pictures are stamped date and time. will post pictures later.
