As far as the outfitters I learned a lot about these guys. Completely changed my attitude! Outstanding guys! The governors tag was after this bull in Sept of last year. Az Ground Pounders also were after bull during the archery hunt. Both came VERY close to killing him. Fortunately for Mady he disappeared and everyone lost tract of him. They both were very excited for Mady! They were excited to put their hands on this bull that they both worked so hard to tag. Thank you Jay, Luke, Gino(A3), Waylon, Cash and Steel(Az Ground Pounders). Both gave her video,pictures and sheds.

Thanks! The guys in the pics are palvs2hnt and myself. There were only the three of us on the hunt(palvs2hnt,Mady and myself. So yes, we were the spotters. The other 2 came the next day for the pack out.

The rifle is Remington Sendero 7mag, timney trigger, glass bedded, modified muscle break, vortex viper 6.5x20 50mm. Hand loads: norma brass, R22 and 168gr berger. Speedygoss(CWT member) deserves a special thanks helping get this rifle built. The guys a genus!

I will post the story on here. I've said that before. There's no "secret". Everyone else has made those claims. Simply stating that I'm not posting anything yet doesn't mean there's a secret. I have stated we'll post when we're ready. Some of you need some patience. Things take awhile. Official scores, what's going on with it now, etc...Doesn't do any good to make any claims or statements until things are finalized. It's a long process. I've commited to eastmans not to publish anything until it's out.

Let me clarify first. We never said my daughters bull was #2. Those were assumptions. The official score and rank are now finalized. My daughter received a letter from SCI last week. It is # 8 in the world for typical bull taken with a rifle. Yes, it will be in eastmans hunting journal. The story went to print July 14th. They said it would be out a few weeks after that.

With bear season approaching fast I thought this video might help. I've done a fair amount of research on bears and I find this to be an excellent video on judging bears. I think many times bears are judged to be "big" simply because encounters are few and far between for hunters. There are errors made by AZGF too. It's not always the card holder or bank. I know this first hand. Agree, charge it all up front. We had to front the money with paper apps.
