Hey Yall, Headed out to pleasant later this afternoon and evening for some striper fishing. Anyone have any good suggestions on where there biting out there? And what they are in the mood to eat?

Thanks for the reply and the good tips. Went out a couple times in the past couple weeks. First night nothing, not even a bite. Second night, went to a "special spot" of my buddy's and started bringing them in like crazy. We used a light and it took about 30 minutes or so before we attracted the fish, but once we did it was game on. I was using chovies and would drop them to the bottom in about 50 ft of water then bring it up to about 40. Most of the time they would start hitting the line when i hit the bottom before i could even bring it up again. Great times.

I'm with you on the Arizona Gunslinger habanero is the best! A must have when your cooking up burgers with some Busch's Baked Beans. Now I'm getting hugry. But I also use Rooster sauce on carne Asada Burrito's.

I would have to agree with Chef. I like the whole team aspect of it. Its always good to know that your friend or even better, your spouse, has your back.

Went out yesterday afternoon to a local manmade lake and caught a few 1 to 3 lb bass. It was pretty windy though. But always fun.

Well its in munds park but yes it is a little east of most of the houses. Its pretty small

Hey all, I'm going pheasant hunting for the first time this coming weekend and just looking for some tips and a little advice. I'm using my 12 guage and wondering what choke and size shot would you all recommend? These are farmed birds so im sure they will be plump and slow so i'm hoping to come back with some great success pictures. Thanks ahead of time. TC LEE

Hey TJ, The hunt went great, I will post pictures this afternoon. I appologize for the delay, this week has been a crazy one. We were up at the YMCA high desert hunt club and everyone up there is very personable, that was my first time up there and it seems like a "one-stop-shop" From bird hunting to fishing, horseback riding and clay shooting, they've got it all. The only issue we had was the skeet walk-through wasn't set-up with clays, so we had to find the clays and just set up one of the shooters ourselves. I'm guessing cause it's close to the end of the season for them so they were in the process of closing things down for the summer. But besides that i'm hooked. I loved watching those dogs stalk and point. I think the most amazing part is when one of the dogs would find a bird, the other dog would stop and honor the others point and sort of back him up. It's incredible. Like I said, I hope to have a couple pictures up this afternoon. Thanks for posting yours TJ. Happy hunting, TC

that just goes to show us all how much work dogs do for us. But thats what they love to do. they are natural born hunters!
