I've been out several times recently and have seen a few snakes. The only rattlers I've seen have been in the roads. I'm not much of a snake person so I try to make sure they won't bother me the next time I'm out. JDH

I have been out scouting the last six weekends for the Nov. hunt and have not seen the amount of deer or sign that I would like to, except tracks around water. I may be covering to much country trying to find an area to slow down and really work. Has anyone experieneed the same thing? Any tips or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, JDH

I have been waiting for a store like this in Tucson for a long time. Now that it is here I think I don't know if it is a good thing. We spent half a day and a couple of bucks. I got out lucky because they were out of The Swarovski 15 x 56, but I am worried about the next time I go in, me resistance is down. JDH

I have not been out much, just driving around 34A one weekend. Saw a doe and fawn from the road. They slowly moved up a ridge out of sight. This was the first fawn I have ever seen. It was pretty cool, even my 2 year old daughter was excited.

I've hunted 35b and 34 on and off for 15 years now and never had any problems. Seen some illegals but they tended to stay as far away from me as possible. Like Arizona Guide, I also carry a side arm just in case. JDH

I will be using a new Savage .270 with a Burris Fullfield II 3 x 9 on top. I hope I can talk the wife into a new pack before November. Dodger2, Have you had a chance to test out the Badlands pack? Ernesto, I just want to add another vote that you need not ever apologize for expressing you're faith. I have never been offended by anyone expressing their faith and think the world, and this country especially, could use more people like you. God bless you. JDH

A couple years back I ran into several mulies on the south side of Redington road around mile marker 11 during the october coues hunt. There was one nice 4x4, a small spike, and several does. Hope this helps. JDH
