Plus i have looked at maps non stop sense i drew tag.

So been going crazy with me knowing i drew this tag. Spent two days up there already and got some good driving in and pretty much drove the whole unit. Not every road but drove unit from top to bottom and west and east. Other than learning the unit a bit what else do you guys recommend for the late hunt

12aw late first choice 3a3c second choice nothing else. both only had 2 points plus loyalty and hunters ed points.put in for these hunts expecting to get another bonus point and archery hunt coues deer like i do but got a hit on the card and now cant stop thinking about what we drew!

Ya thats what my little bit of pride is telling me is to go without and it will be that much better if it happens

I drew 12aw late

Mine is a chest freezer in garage that does get ice buildup stickflicker. And i got one more question do you guys recommend removing antlers before boil or u think i can do it without the removal and glue back?

How long will it take to freeze dry velvet antlers in normal chest freezer? Had someone tell me it will do same thing over a longer period of time.

With some units opening soon just seeing what everyone has been seeing? Usually someone has posted something from scouting. Got kids and starting a new career so i am not making it out this season i dont think.so i am trying to live it thru you guys lol. Been at it for four years now and i have seen and found them but havnt pulled the trigger yet. Hope this post gets this bear thread started lol been waiting for something.

Nice buck! At least you got a finished buck from R@R taxi i waited three years and got a damaged velvet buck horns back with unfinished mount. posted pics in the taxi forum. Gave him two weeks to fix the antlers and after two weeks he didnt do anything so i know haVe them with wild herritage taxi

This was my 2013 coues deer that i shot with my bow in velvet. I had put a deposit down and yes i didnt follow up as much as i should of. Everytime i thought about it i didnt have the money to really drop on it so i let it slide. I did check on it a few times when i droped off a turkey fan and got a turkey strut mount done durring that time and i got the excuse that it was either still drying in freezer or he was having a tanner issue until i saw it on the hang line in his shop which he said he should be getting done soon. Well just this past month i decided to stop in and i was actually just going to pick them up and have someone else do the mount for me and didnt see them on line rack or in progress so i got worried. Then i get this showed to me. He had them on line and mice or something got to the and i guess never decided to call me or even fix them. He told me he didnt no how to fix velvet but could fix the antler and was going get ahold of someone who does replicas to fix. So i said ok i will let you fix them but i am going to pick them up after that. Well two weeks later and i call and he doesnt know who i am at first then goes oh well i called the guy i know to fix them and he hasnt called me back. Next day i am at shop picking them up and my deposit. As i am leaving he goes i wish you would of let me fix them and i told him u had three years plus after i found out i gave you two weeks to do something about it and he made no attempt to fix so it is what it is. Cant believe there was not even an offer to take care of mount or really no ergency to fix Especially after i have spent a few thousand throughout the years with them. Oh well no more from now on. Now the delema is to find someone to fix these. Sorry pics always flip

So i was looking at the bonus pass by hunt number And it looked like with me having 17 points going into next years draw i should be pretty much be guaranteed a tag that azgfd has posted for certian units for the late goulds tag. I think in the 35s late hunt it was a shoe in if i am understanding it correctly?And each unit there is a different draw correct? or are we just thrown into a big pot and each given numbers. That question i really never looked into.thanks guys for any info
