  1. Looking to trade or buy used range finder with angle compensation. Doesn't have to be pretty - just need one that works. 5-600 yds is what I had. I've got this to trade plus cash. There is one bolt missing on one treestand arm rest. Ladder new in box (25') I found the missing piece to the stand

    spear fishing idea

I agree. Apparently my son thinks the same as me but he's already tried it and was unsuccessful with homemade equipment.

    spear fishing idea

I've checked the regs already and its legal. Cat is legal too in very specific locations and stripers at Pleasant. Im not thinking swimming. It's off my kayak. Over time I've found a couple places where I believe this would be effective. I just have to give it a go. Anyone ever eat carp? I will try it if I kill it but I'd prefer a good recipe.

need a range finder with angle compensation

Thank you. I looked and found that one online for 159.99 refurbished. Some of the internet deals are pretty darn good (unless you are interested in the treestand as trade + $40)

    Better off dead

My dad used to snake hunt. Grew up with skins hanging all over the house. Now I just walk on by them but if they are in my yard, that's a different story. Do you eat them?

I looked in the bargain cave today and it was up to 299 there. I'll hold out a bit just to see if anyone here has an extra laying around they don't need.

need a range finder with angle compensation

Open but not wanting to spend a ton. I've seen good deals online $200-300 but I'd like a better deal. I already gave my spare to my son last summer since he didn't have one

    My first solo kayak trip

As I move forward, I'm wanting to take people with me kayaking so I figured what better way to test my own abilities than a solo kayak trip. So far my river trips have been in groups, although I once was called "brave" for kayaking a lake solo. I still laugh about that. I have to stop myself and remember that not all women do what I do and for that matter not all men do what I do. I've also yearned for a chance to go solo to see the wildlife in complete silence. I just knew there had to be more than what I was seeing in a group.

Because im new to public wifi and I messed up. I'd like to delete the other one. Maybe a moderator can.

    My first solo kayak trip

My mother would be offended...lol. and the "older " crowd that hits the salt on kayaks are all retired folks. It is NOT that difficult. I've actually noticed the majority are older than my 42 years.

    My first solo kayak trip

My mother kayaks with me. I guarantee you can kayak TJ. My son & i have the same kayaks and they are very very stable, easy to get on/off, and super easy to paddle.
  13. I like the fact that it goes from 15-130 lbs. I may just try the BowTrainer instead. Thank you.

    My first solo kayak trip

That's funny. I have two posts for this but my photos are on the other post. It appears I had some technical difficulties.

    My first solo kayak trip

I just took my brother in law and his daughter. He was going to rent one for $40 from sports authority but bought one for $200 (good sale ). He was told if you go to Tempe town lake you can rent them and try out different kinds. I have a 12' fishing model from field & stream. I have a couple old sit in kayaks that I don't like. I like sit on but that is my preference. I carry a 6-year-old or a dog at times with me. I've camped via the kayak numerous times so storage is important to me. I've taken people new to kayaking with me to the chain lakes and the Salt. Hope this helps. I love kayaking and it is a whole lot cheaper than a motor boat.

    Bitter/Sweet Fathers day

You're a good dad. Holidays have a new meaning after losing a loved one. Crystal Rose has a magnificently breathtaking beautiful final resting place. I'm very sorry for your loss.

    Hunting w/ Epi-Pen

My ex hunted with an epi pen for a bee allergy. We kept a pen just about every place we could so there was always one available. It's not like men carry a purse they can throw it in. Well dang that's not true anymore....I'm seeing "man" purses more and more. He had to use the pen once on a javi hunt. I'd also recommend you carry a steroid dosepak of some sort prescribed by your doc. This will help until you can get to emergency medical services. I'd recommend going nowhere without your pen especially until you know what you are allergic to. It's serious business.

Out on the kayak and my little girl spotted these first.

    Hillary!

Ughhh. She is not ready to run our nation or any nation for that matter. And to think I know people who will vote for her strictly because she is a woman regardless of her capabilities.
  21. I understand your thoughts. I believe they should take the class because they will learn something to help them be better hunters. They will gain something from the class. I'd suggest not giving them a choice but rather make it a fun day with dad. The way you view the class should transfer to your children. Make it fun (somehow be creative).
