Glad my boy was encouraged to shoot right handed when he was young. Sure has saved a lot of money and headache finding guns & bows over the years.

That is so cool!

When I was new to that area I looked on the AZ Game & Fish website for 37b and started there. They give good starting points, but you have to just move out from there to get away from people. There are deer and lots of pigs. Deer seem to especially prefer the flats, which is very hard hunting

Games on! Muscle memory is a wonderful thing.

You must be a mind reader! That is exactly what I'm doing -
I'm so sad. First of all, my dumb butt put the camera in the bear box upside down so all there are is white pictures. It was my first time setting them up alone The rest is even more upsetting to me so for now I'll just say the camera was pulled and there will be no footage for now or possibly ever of the yellow weasel. Not what I wanted or expected to say the least, but that's all I can say for now. Did I say how disappointed I am?

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want to tag a bear, then shoot. Me personally I'd pass after seeing some of the big ones off the rez.

Smallest deer ever!

Baby antelope? My buddy has never seen such a sight as a baby antelope running 100 mph away from him. He still talks about it. Mama was not around. Baby Antelope in 1st pic and Dic-Dic in second pic -
Got my coues buck back from Mogollon Taxidermy...great job!!

Beautiful buck! -
I went to check the cameras and I was VERY surprised to these girls. I had no problem saying Coues, but when I asked around I got mixed opinions. I'm convinced the trail cam pictures are of coues does. The mule deer up there are tan (I took the mule deer picture a couple days ago). These deer on the trail cam are gray, the halo, the tails, etc. I did lighten the trail cam pics because they were dark. I've yet to see a Coues up that high and this is a first on trail cam. I've been using the general area for about 10 years now. I'm happy to see them. Mule Deer Coues right?

I've got two child backpack carriers. They both are very comfortable to carry your little ones around in while you are outdoors (for miles and miles). I would love to see these go to someone who will take their children out with them and show them the outdoors. I got them originally second hand. They both are in good condition. Just need a little cleaning. The black one is for infants/toddlers. The blue is for toddlers.

Went out looking for frogs after monsoon rain...here is what we found

Very nice pics! A friendly reminder to any new comers or people like me who just didn't know. The Colorado River Toad is deadly to dogs. The dog must actually lick the toad. If a child picks one up, make sure they wash their hands before putting their hands in their mouths. I've taken additional non-lethal measures this year to try to make my yard less appealing for them. Hope it works. -
Baby and child backpack carriers - FREE to good home

Adoption is a beautiful thing Cactusjack! My little one came along 13 years after my second child. She is the one who decided to bless us with her presence at a time when we were not expecting it. No ifs, ands, or buts about it she is my last! -

Absolutely beautiful

I've tried at great length finding an image of what I saw online, but can't find one anywhere. I'm guessing it must be a color variation. My husband is supposed to go up next week to check cameras. I'm sure hoping I get a picture I'll post if I do.

My husband was nice enough to surprise me with a new camera Here's a few pictures from the desert and a few from the woods. I'm learning new technology with the camera, but what I've found is my time stalking animals is paying off when carrying just a camera and it is so much lighter than my bow! Close to home Wouldn't want one of these in my sleeping bag A young ram Love our monsoon A young buck Right after I saw the yellow ferret, I looked over the edge and found this! My biggest to date. Still can't imagine how they carry these things around on their heads. They are heavy! Very patient photo subject with a bug on it's nose This doe found me very interesting and hung out for awhile. A beautiful end to a beautiful day!

Happy birthday TJ!

It was at least 6" long and was crawling on a more than vertical cliff (hope that makes sense). Even if they aren't "dangerous" to me, that many legs that are thicker than a toothpick freak me out!

We're supposed to have no antler growth this year right?

Thanks for verifying

Well said, but faces won't be posted. I don't agree with what they did, but it's not my place to post faces. Ultimately, when alone in the field it's only our own conscious (or lack of) that guides us in our decision making.

I'm very sorry that this isn't how it was supposed to turn out for you. I highly recommend if you are physically able to get out and shoot an elk. There are many options available to you even in a wheelchair. As I was out in the field the last couple days, I started envisioning and planning for my father-in-law's CHAMP elk hunt. Years past he was out there with us on foot chasing animals, but now post stroke he only has one side that works the way it used to. I know in my heart that this hunt is very hard for him in many ways because it isn't going to be the way it used to be, but between the three of us we will find a new way for him and we will make it the best time we can. Again, unless there is absolutely no possible way for you to sit water I would NOT give up your elk tag, but rather adjust and make due with the situation at hand. Just imagine how good it would feel if you were to conquer all and tag an elk

The body is very very similar, but not the colors at all. The ENTIRE body was yellow all but it's feet (below the knee) and end of tail. It had no brown on it's back, sides, or head that I recall. It's funny. I definitely know why I could never have been a police officer. I keep asking myself could it of had this or that (After the fact and after looking at many many pictures online), but I'm going back to my initial memory and I have yet to see an exact picture of what this critter looked like.

An ermine fits the bill more than anything else I've seen so far. This picture is very similar to what I saw but more yellow color than white, but it had the dark brown on the lower half of all four legs and the tail (just like the tail in this picture). I'm sure hoping my trail cam gets a pic. My husband just laughed at me. I'm hunting pictures of ferrets with the trail camera, which isn't exactly what it's intended use was...lol PS - It was not an albino ringtail. ermine.pdf

Wow! What a beautiful way to wake up drinking my coffee looking at all these beautiful pictures. There is definitely some amazing photographic talent on CWT. Way back on this thread there was mention of a CWT wall calendar. I'd be in to buy one for sure. Arizona sunsets are amazing!
