    Savage 110

So I acquired a Savage 110 30-06 in a trade. It is an older model with a blind magazine. I have been reading around and wondering if anyone has any ideas for a fun rifle build and also interested to anyones input to if it would even be worth it. I like the idea of being able to change out barrels and I am open to changing calibers, stock, and barrels. I would like to use it for bench shooting at long range. I also have the ability to handload. Open to all crazy ideas. Suggestions?

    Reloading Question

Getting ready to start reloading for 300WSM and 270WSM. Going to be using Barnes TTSX Boattails, 130GR for the 270 and 140GR for the 300. Using Redding FL 2 Die Set, I have a question that has come up and reading around there is no precise answer. Should I Crimp after seating using a "light" Crimp or is the Resizing Die enough push the neck back without needing to crimp? Sounds like most answers are that there is a majority of non-crimpers for bolt action rifles... Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    TRADE

Ya, im aware. Hence why its a trade option and not a straight sale... there are people all the time that make senseless trades... example... 750 dollar rifle scope for a 1000 dollar revolver.. the guy needed a scope. Had a gun to trade... I don't have to get rid of it.. just seeing if anything comes along that tickles my fancy..

    TRADE

Up for Trade - Springfield XD 40 subcompact. LNIB. Less than 40 rounds thru it. Includes original case and extras, including extra extended magazine. Also have Galco concealed carry holster. Including box of Winchester hollow points. Online at Bass Pro the gun retails for $550. I am estimating the Value at $600 with everything included. 2 week hunt -

Archery bull hunt is just around the corner and my brother and I have the entire 2 weeks off of work. This will be our first 2 week long hunt that we dont plan to come home except maybe once to do laundry and replentish our supplies. Does anyone have any good tips or pointers on keeping food cold and ice frozen without having to make multiple trips to town for ice? We will be staying in a tent trailer with a small fridge so most of our stuff will be in ice chests. I would like to know everyones input so we can make the best of our hunt. Good luck to everyone who has a tag this next month!

    Need some help...

Looking for some good advice and maybe a good eye doctor to see for a good precise perscription. I have an astigmatism in my right eye (my dominant eye) which effects me being able to see my sights on guns and pins on my bow. I dont need glasses on a day to day basis, mainly just for shooting. I have glasses but they still do not make the correction that i would imagine i should be able to get. so my questions would be as follows: 1. Contacts or Glasses? 2. Any recommendations to good eye doctors around the valley? 3. Do Peep Lenses work? Any information from anyone would be very helpful. Thanks to all in advance.
