New or used, it doesn't matter particularly. I just shot my coues with my leupold mark4 and loved it.

Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a nice Leupold rifle scope so I figure I would look to see if anyone has one potentially for sale. I was thinking either a mark 4 or a vx 3, 6.5-20x50 or 8.5-25x50. I have found some decent deals online already but want to check out other options first. Armand

Try the hex nut bullet comparator from Sinclair intl or midway. Let's you take your measurement from the ogive. (It's the same idea as other bullet comparators). I haven't been reloading a long time but this is what I have gathered from hours and hours of reading forums and picking peoples brains.

I have a Howa model 1500 thumbhole sporter chambered in 300 win mag up for sale. The rifle is topped with a Nikon monarch 4-16x50 bdc reticle scope on Talley one piece rings. I had a muzzle break installed along with glass bedding, trigger work, and a 1 inch recoil pad. Only reason it's for sale is because I'm trying to fund a new rifle build. Text me at 928 322 2962
