Last week I was watching a hunting show on t.v. for a whitetail deer hunt. They showed a "racked doe". They said they had been watching this doe for 3 years now and that this was the first year she had a fawn. I'm just curious. Have any of you ever came across a racked/antlered doe before?

FRUSTRATING!!! What's a person to do? I read notices about if you applied online to make sure your credit card info is up to date, not going to expire, etc. I checked and no problem. Then yesterday got new credit card in the mail with a NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER!!!! They sent me a new card with a new account number because "some credit card information from your . . . account may have been compromised at an undisclosed third-party location." I got online and checked to see what to do to change acc't number info for the draw. Last Friday was the deadline to do so!!!! The accompanying paperwork states my existing acc't "will be closed within approximately 7 days from the mailing date of the correspondence." but they failed to put a date anywhere on the paperwork or a postmark on the envelope!!!! I sure hope the draw happens within the 7 days of their mailing date, whatever it is. Don't get me wrong. I'm pleased with the actions the card company is doing to prevent fraudulent activity on my accout but the timing of it happening could be problamatic as far as the draw goes.

I live on SW of Tucson, near San Xavier Mission. My rain gauge has 4 inches of rain in it!!!! All from today. I believe we had more than that though. The 60 mph wind pushed the hardest falling rain sideways so I don't think not as much rain got into the rain gauge as would have it the rain would have came straight down.

I have had fun watching this link and rechecking the photo over and over. I first found what possibly was a deer but I thought, with that big of a head where is the rest of the body? Then I cheated and got out a magnifying glass and found the coyote pretty quickly. That was exciting. I never actually ruled out the deer just wasn't as confident about it as I was the coyote. Thanks for sharing your photo and making it a search and seek activity.

Sam, Kenna and I had a fine time. Can't say which I enjoyed most; seeing my hunting friends, meeting new hunting friends, the food, listening to the kids play outside as I went to sleep each eve, the dogs, the hunt stories, the balancing bracelet, the raffle, etc. etc. etc. Oh wait...I know what my favorite part was...Lance clueing me in on my upcoming hunts. Lance, I thank you and your family for putting together such a great weekend for us. We are looking forward to next year's event already. -
Just found this link today and I love it!!!! Thank you for sharing! You have my heart a pound'n. Please continue to share.

6TH ANNUAL CWT.com MARSHALL LAKE GET-TOGETHER
hntnIwlgo replied to Lance's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
TJ, Sam and I are disappointed by news you and Peg won't be able to attend. Hopefully something will change to allow you to attend. Being this is our first year attending and we are not familiar with the lake area, I have a few questions for those who have prior experience. -We are going to go up on Thursday. Is there a place at the lake we should or should not camp? -Where about on lake will things be happening? We'd hate to camp right in the middle of everything. -What time do things usually get started? -Can we help in some way? Please let us know. Hopefully these are questions other newcomers have too.
