All depends on what you like single or binary cam, more forgiving or speed, limb stops or cable stops. Either way you need to shoot them and choose which fits best for you. I shoot a Strothers. You have probably never heard of it seeing as it is an up and coming company but That bow is amazing and has everything I like. I had a PSE evo7 had a hoyt crx and liked my Strothers more so I sold them. If you are dead set on one of those 2 bows I would go Hoyt! Archerytalk.com is a great website that has a classified section were you can buy new and used bows for amazing prices. You can also check the sellers feedback to make sure they are a honest seller! Good luck and whatever you choose make sure your happy with it don't just buy it for the name!

Great video Jake my Dad and I enjoyed it! Do you know what Zach Carter's deer scored that he shot a couple years back? Also congrats on the muley you took this year. By the way this is Jake Richardson. -

Here are a few small bucks. Believe it or not all the deer in the last picture are bucks, Small but bucks! -
I have and they shoot great honestly I find them to be a tad bit more accurate than my 2" blazers! BUT they are LOUD! I hated that they are so much louder and also don't like that they pop off. I decided to go back to blazers but if you are shooting 3D they would be perfect!

Well I shot my deer in January but my dad put in for 4 hunts that had less than a 5% chance of getting drawn and he put in for oct 36b or a sure thing! Well to both of our surprise he wasn't drawn? Then we looked at the leftover permits available and there are like 240 permits available for the early 36b hunt!?!?! how does this happen haha there was definitely money in the account he used so? I guess it isn't a big deal he gets a bonus point out of it and he can just grab a leftover works out better!

So here is the question how far are you comfortable taking a shot with your bow at an animal. When I started bow hunting I wouldn't shoot at any thing over 40 yards. Now I find myself shooting every day and can shoot a 5-7 inch group at 80 yards consistently. I try not to shoot past 60 yards but now I know if the big boy is standing there at 80 yards I can put the arrow in the vitals. Just to see what every ones shooting Post your bow, Draw weight, Draw length, and furthest distance: 2012 Strother Wrath 67#s 29" 80 yards

Deer Draw: What was everyone's first and second choice?
soccerstar2013 replied to reganranch's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
ya dont expect to get it but it will help build bonus points! We usually just pick up some leftovers for the 36b hunt. We try to get the oct leftovers if there are any! -

Goal1: I was planning on helping a friend get his first deer with a bow, but his bow broke so... Goal2: Now Im planning on trying to get my dad his first deer with a bow but he says it has to be something big to end the year before rifle season. I guess we'll see what happens.
