1,200 is the price of the hunt and its a 9 day hunt in the 2nd week of November.... Some Units are better than others during this time.... It would be good to at least put in 4-7 days hunt to find a 100in class buck..not much pressure with only 15 tags available per unit... there is 4 units

November is a descent hunt.... Ive guided that hunt alot.... You can expect to see alot of 90ish class bucks and the ocassional 100-110 class coues.... if its a dry year... water plays an important role.... if its more than normal moisture year.... deer will be scattered and most likely up high.... I reccommend being in really good shape.... Its alot tougher than the rut hunt...

A guide with a non-member wanting a tag will be first regardless if your first in line...they usually charge anywhere from 200-400 to stand in line for you....last year the line started 5 days before the tag sale.... if your wanting a November hunt... it shouldnt be a big deal.... just the rut tags go fast

I am from San Carlos... and have seen maybe 2 bucks in my lifetime over 120s mark... Its due to great management....not many tribal members hunt coues, due to wanting more meat which is mule deer. Those big bucks killed this year had to do with the excellent rainfall we have this past summer... 7inches more than we had last year so horn growth is spectacular... We have an average of 500 hunters hunt on the tribal hunt in October,and at least 100 nonmember coues hunters in a year with only a 30 - 40 percent success which is good... but there is alot of country on the rez(1.8 million acres of coues). Im not a biologist but a guide who hits the field 100 days out of the year... hope this might explain a little

HEY MAN... I WOULD TRY ANYWHERE NEAR THE SALT RIVER... OR ALONG THE REZ LINE... IM FROM SAN CARLOS REZ AND HAVE SHOT A FEW 90INCH COUES IN THAT UNIT USING THESE LOCATIONS... BUT I HAVE SEEN BIGGER.... I GUIDE ON THE REZ... BUT I HAVENT SEEN ANY ALONG THE LINE... GOODLUCK..HOPE THIS HELPS
