Thanks was going to camp four nights the weather looks much better the following week plus the water temps should be up. Snowed most of the day here in Show Low. What a great winter/spring opener lol Lake will be full might even be water in the windy hill parking lot again

Any reports? Was going to do a trip this Thursday but might push it out a week with all the snow we just got. Probably going to be muddy for awhile...

Looks like its going to be blowing opening day in 6A. What would you guys do? Im thinking spot and stock just like deer and play the wind to ambush them

Hi, thanks Amanda! This is a fantastic site you created I will certainly give this a try! Looking forward to getting up in the high country again. Photofool, I know they can't smell was thinking if you spot them you can use the wind / noise to get ahead of them hopefully undetected. Good luck to the rest of the folks hunting this week!

Hi, first time hunting 36B and trying to figure out if we should camp or not with the activity going on. Anyone else camping? Any cheap hotels close by? Planning to hunt the Ruby Quadrangle. Appreciate any help and good luck to anyone else headed out. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, sounds like an adventure. Will check those spots out on the map and setup the armory. Talked to BP and they said their folks were camping out as well on the job. Also with the additional guard down there and all the other hunters wouldn't think it would be that bad. He also said they usually stay away more during hunting season cause folks call them in. Guess will see, if it seams bad will be in the truck like Elk Hunter said. Actually that's where I was last year unit 7, great hunt :) Good luck again!
