I know, this is a long shot. But I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find it anywhere. This is soort of a last ditch effort. It's a Sony handycam in a camo pouch. Inside the pouch is the camera, tripod adapter (maybe two) a couple of SD cards and a lens doubler. There's also a small portable battery pack to charge electronics. Honestly, the footage on the cards mean more to me than anything. But sure would like it all. Last known location: unit 33, 2014 HAM hunt, backside mt lemmon road. Either down in Peppersauce campground (far east camping spot) or on the small two track road about 2+ miles south of the campground. Not the 7749 road that heads WEST and makes the Peppersauce/Nugget Canyons loop but the next road up that heads EAST. We shot a couple of pigs opening day down that road and it may have fallen out then. Anyway, I know this is a long shot but I also know hunters talk. If you know or hear of someone, please let me know. Thanks!! PS. I can reward you with one of the bucks on the camera (my choice) if you found it! Ha!

Thanks guys. I hope it turns up somehow too. gotcoues, You're welcome for the pig spot. Only the biggest of hogs live in this super secret location so make sure you keep it quiet! As for the non-typical. We could go look at him anytime you want. He's resting peacefully down at Weller's. ; )

That's what I believe they're proposing, yes.

This is exactly right. Unless he used ANOTHER card when he initially applied. But it doesn't sound like it. Not to distract from the original topic, but this is exactly why G and F had ZERO justification in taking loyalty points and not issuing BP's when cards were rejected in the past. It's simple, if they took your app fee, you at least deserved a BP (whether you botched the app, CC company wrongfully rejected it, etc..) I'm not saying you deserved a tag. Just saying the BP was yours, you paid for it with your app fee. I'm glad G and F saw the unintended consequences of taking points without merit and "fixed" it with their new policy. Can you say "RETROACTIVE"?? Not good... Good luck to everyone else in the draw! Results will be up by Friday

Plenty of houndsman in the area if you're willing to pay!

Hey Rombo, I'm curious how this worked. By no means am I trying to take anything away from what this boy has done but I'm trying to understand the process. Awesome ram, btw! 1. If he shot the ram on his 10th bday, did he get the tag signed over to him THAT morning prior to stepping into the field? The reason I ask is because I ran into a similar issue when applying my daughter for her first big game hunt (javelina). She turns 10 on the 25th of January. I was hoping to get the jrs hunt (starts on the 24th) but the online system wouldn't even allow her to apply for a hunt unless she was of age on the day of or PRIOR to opening day. My thoughts were we just wouldn't step into the field until the 25th to make it legal but that's not even possible. I also believe that a tag can't be signed over until a person IS 10+ yrs old. Once again, if this all took place on the morning of the hunt, none of my questions matter. Just curious since I was pretty disappointed in my daughters' scenario. Thanks

Of course they knew lions would be killed over it. Like I already mentioned, They also implemented a "lion a day" limit in the area. But you're right, maybe they just needed to keep their mouth shut when it did happen.

Pretty sure that's the 3rd sheep dead since the relocation. Maybe someone else can chime in but I'm also pretty sure the "Pusch ridge area" within unit 33 is at 1 lion per day, per hunter. So you're close. Go knock yourself out in that country! As for wasting sportsmans dollars. I'd rather see money "wasted" on a sheep relocation than Sonoran chubs or wolves.

If your buddy hunts there "quite a bit" then it sounds like you're covered. Go to his spots and you'll probay find deer. Good luck to your boys!

Most likely you hit him high (shocked his spine). Classic "dropped like a sack of potatoes", then when you got over there he was gone. It sucks. I've seen it more than I'd like to remember. But you'll know now that when they drop like that to continue and watch them or put another bullet in them. The good news is there's a strong possibility he'll live.

Congrats, Jeremiah! You're officially hooked.... -
I think your 6x2 is both mature and a freak. His body and his face tell me that, anyway. Your 3x4 is no slouch. Great buck! even though he might appear to be a little younger. Maybe not. Its always fun to "let the young ones grow another year" but it's an entirely different game on public land chasing wild animals. But it sure is fun trying! Good luck.

Someone post a picture already.

Depends on what it's worth to the dept???

ARS-17-101 11) D. That should answer your question.

I don't know this buck. He sure is big. That's too bad if the accusations are true. But to anyone who suggests that this is comparable to the buffalo hunts up there you're SERIOUSLY mistaken. Give it a try sometime.

My buddy lost one in 33

David, Send those pics to Lance. He might have video of that buck. I could be wrong but looks close from what I remember, anyway. If it is the same buck, he dissapeared just before the hunt a couple years ago. STUD!!

I'd rather keep it PM. Consider one sent, thanks!

I won't wast too much of anyones time but I have some questions regarding NR Wyoming hunts. In particular, Mule deer hunts. If you're familiar with WY, their process and regs, please PM me and I'll ask my questions. Thanks in advance!! Jake

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I might be getting this confused with Utah. I don't want to pass on bad information as I've been looking at several states' rules and regs lately. But wasn't there a "clause" that made the permit valid even if the license used when you purchased that tag happens to expire? For example: Like Lance mentioned, if my hunting license expires June 1st but my bear tag/hunt ends on July 31st, I'm still ok?? I thought I read that somewhere but might be confusing it with Utah..

Unit 33 Hot Spots and Honey Holes!
Tines replied to bigorange's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Maybe this will help. If it were me, I'd stay away from the Catalinas and most of the Rincons (Although I hear the top of the Rincons doesn't get much hunting pressure). Places to check out might be right in the middle- Reddington Pass. I hear it's a little gold mine where very few hunters dare to venture. #2 might be Peppersauce Canyon areas. Sometimes it'll get some traffic but only the hardcore guys who aren't afraid of a little hike take advantage of this secluded little honey hole. Other areas of interest might be Happy Valley or maybe the top of Mt. Lemmon. All good stuff!! Let me know how you do and looking forward to getting some of your honey holes down south..
