Two pair, lightly used. These are the Cabelas brand in MossyOak Break-up. I believe it's the new break-up. Anyway, they're size 38 REG. But they probably fit more like 40's. I never was able to wear them. Just too big for me. $20 for both or make me an offer
-
Not sure what these might be going for. Selling for my dad who has no use for them. As far as I can tell, they're roughly $20 a box online?? They're yours for $15 a box. Located in Tucson. 2- boxes Winchester 130gr psp 5- boxes Winchester 150gr psp 2- boxes Remington 130gr Core-lokt

Anyone willing to part with some?? Thanks

Just cause I know this makes you deer hunters happy……..

Great job, buddy! Probably saved at least fifteen or so 130" bucks right there -
Very few outfits have the clientele or pocketbook to do what you've stated. Careful not to lump all outfits into one. It's always amazed me that with today's technology so much misleading information is spread. I'm just jealous I haven't found anything worthwhile where these outfitters are banging down my door.

Cool! What was the final score of the bull?
-
Where's that at, 190" bucks from the road!!!???...And don't forget "all the time".
-
I don't think there is any doubt that it is easier (but still not easy) to find a 190" MD in AZ in the 13's or the 12's and much of Colorado / Utah / Wyoming high country. 120" Coues is rare even in MX. I think a more honest comparison would be a 190" MD to a 110" Coues. Agree 100%. I think a lot of Coues hunters could probably ease up on the "easy" talk when it comes to a giant Coues bucks like 120"+
-
The question is "would you rather". For me it's simple.... 190" mule deer. But are we talking desert or rocky?? 190" desert buck is ginormous. 190" rocky is still really, really, big. But my goal before I'm done hunting is to take a really big rocky buck so I'll take that right now. Not to hijack the thread, but let me throw this out there. This might shine a different light on those who think it's "easier" to find a 120" Coues deer compared to a 190" muley: If you could take your pick of any DRAW permits offered in AZ for both species, which would be the easiest to find, 190" or 120"??

I'd never admit Cody Glover was my cousin. ; ) That said, it's a great buck for sure!!

Question about receiving money without being a guide
Tines replied to bonecollector777's topic in The Campfire
Most of the time the G and F need a lead on a potential infraction. I think you may have just given them one yourself on a public forum. Don't get me wrong, I think your intentions are good. I really do. And frankly, some WM's that I know would probably see your intentions and not bat an eye at what you're asking. But unfortunately good intentions and a WM's interpretation of laws are relative. Per AZGFD, the definition of a "guide" changed not long ago. This new definition you quoted is actually a little more straight-forward, IMO, than the old one. But that doesn't make it more simple either. Definitions are evolving with the times. Some have suggested calling the dept for a definitive answer. If you do that, get something in writing like Amanda said. The problem with calling the dept sometimes is they don't have an answer, the answer might vary based on who you ask, or possibly seriously contradict with what a dept employee might have told you 5 minutes earlier. "Compensation" is like "road hunting"- if they want to bust you, they probably can. I'm not trying to complicate things but I'm afraid you'll get a different answer, even from those down at the office. -
To quote what one of the WMs you mentioned told me last year in a southern unit - "We can have a ridiculously low buck to doe ratio, like 100:1, and still get all the does bred. So what we're doing management wise is working." Do these WMs actually have degrees? Or are they making this $hit up as they go? Insanity! Not to defend ridiculous comments like above, but some of these WM's feel the same way we do. They Just can't or won't take a stand to those who actually DO make the "big" decisions.

To echo Lance, the animals must take priority. The dept should answer to their conscience and professional obligations, not some ridiculously weighted survey. If hunters complain they're not drawing a tag every year in their favorite unit then it seems pretty simple. G and F can explain it in one statement- "I understand your frustration but responsible game management and the quality of a hunt takes precedence over your wants". PERIOD. End of discussion. There's always leftover permits in other units. The problem with their survey was obvious from the beginning. I run into a LOT of hunters in and out of the field each year. Many of them have great intentions but most haven't a clue to hunting let alone sound game management. Not to sound arrogant but i RARELY run into a hunter where i walk away thinking "that guy knows what he's doing/talking about". Those, my friends, are the majority who took that survey. I assure you that the dept knew exactly how the majority would respond to a rhetorical question like "would you like more hunting opportunity?".
-
It's no secret that 33 holds a tremendous amount of deer. So it's only expected that G&F is going to maximize their revenue with increased tag #'s. G&F have very little interest in the quality of a hunt (especially this one). Sportsman "made that clear" a few years ago. Like someone alluded to earlier, 90% of hunters can't or won't access the majority of the deer. G&F justifies tag numbers based on deer surveys not necessarily hunter accessibility. Hardly makes sense most of the time, I know.

It can be convenient, yes. We found it frustrating when we couldn't find a traditional class to get my daughter into for months. So we went the online route. Depending on how much time you and your child have, it may be alright for you. I put her through the online course last year and it was a pain for everyone. My wife isn't a hunter so she could only help her with some of the questions when I wasn't around. Oh yeah, and about those questions. It's obvious a gov't agency came up with them. AWFUL questions. Some of them might have been brought on from the Common Core team. I found myself re-wording a bunch of questions so she'd understand. And she's a smart girl. I've got 4 more kids that will eventually go through the course. My son being next year. And it'll be in the classroom from here on out. Hope this helps

Big congrats on such a huge animal, Lance! Not surprised you tracked that thing down one bit. Incredible animal.

"Hurry up and buy!!" Here you go. If you're a WT hunter, this is the other "mans best friend". I take good care of my optics. But go figure, a couple of months ago I put a small scuff on one of the objective lenses. I wanted to cry. But seriously, it's not bad. But I think I still shed a tear. Those of you who know better, it makes no difference while looking through them. It's purely cosmetic. Those interested I can send a pic or something. Comes with green case, neck strap, original box, warranty card and new eye-cups. $1350 Next up- Leica LRF 900. Works flawlessly. I've actually ranged beyond 900. It's a true yardage rangefinder. Comes with original box, neck strap and Cabelas neoprene case. Heck, I'll even throw in a new 9v battery! Someone will be happy, I know I've been for a few years. $250 I'm in Tucson. Thanks!!

Great buck! Can't wait for my first tag. Congrats to Aaron! Premium tags come with "premium" drama sometimes. In my experience it's usually misrepresented, misunderstood or tainted with good intentions, kind of drama. Glad to hear your wife ended up with a great buck in the end, Huntn coues.
