thats what I was thinking. Right after the water treatment plant in Marana. You know, I/we laugh at that, but growing up I used to swim in the santa cruz all of the time. I grew up on a farm by Evergreen Air Center....... RIGHT AFTER THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN MARANA!!! That whole time I thought it was dead craw-dads floating down the river.....

Lance seems taking people fishing is more important than finishing this post.......something about "paying the bills".........overrated if you ask me! So I'll post a couple more from the hunt. Lance has most of them but we know we can't wait on that guy.... Here's my view from the picture Lance took of me by the big hole in the ground. Next is a skull I found while heading to my glassing spot. Cute little guy... Finally, this picture made me laugh. While there was a lull in hunting, I decided to snap a few pictures. This particular one being just your typical glassing picture. The reason it looks the way it does is because as I pushed the button on the camera and ran over to the glasses, I tripped and bumped the tripod, almost nocking it off of the other side- about an 80 foot cliff! Although you can't see it, I'm sure I choked on stomach and my heart rate jumped to about 150 in probably 2 seconds! Those of us who have done this and would rather go down the cliff WITH our optics can appreciate! Looking forward to the rest of the pics Lance!

You all will have to forgive Lance in his speed (or lack thereof) of posting. The poor fellas index fingers are probably rubbed raw! I'll post this picture for Lance. This was a sticker on the back of Dennis' trailer. This helped my mind at ease after I found out he was a former UofA professor.......If it offends anyone, sorry. Not really, we can all be proud of many different things and it was nice to be in camp with someone who stood for something, regardless of what others may think! Not to mention it was pretty dang funny.....

cmc, I've got to admit, when I had the pleasure of sharing in Dennis' hunt, I was a little skeptical about sharing camp with a retired UofA professor. After-all, who knew what his thought process was going to be like. That being said, he was about as far "right" from any that I've ever dealt with! It was a blast and he was a trooper. They don't call it one, if not THE most, difficult of all AZ hunts for no reason. Looking forward to the pics also!

Pretty retarded huh? You also need to consider those successful applicants whose funds were rejected. A couple of years ago there were leftover permits in a spring turkey hunt that I put down as my 2nd choice.......AND DIDN'T DRAW!!! Seems not only are we way behind the times in the system we've got, we're extremely inefficient!

I'm a desert rat so know NOTHING about snow machines but what if it's just deep snow in certain areas.....seems a quad would still be favorable considering patchy snow??? I don't know......

I've got a buddy who's sending me a box of .25 caliber TSX bullets that he's not using. I'm interested in this bullet for larger game but have heard they leave quite the copper residue in your barrel. Anyone use this bullet and have those issues? Thanks
