I have to say HUNTERS in arizona are slobs!! I guide in here in Az and in NM as well. The amount of trash I see in AZ compared to NM is embarrassing to me! If your too lazy to put your wrappers in your pack or dig a hole when you take a crap you need to just stay out of the woods!!

The day before xmas I went hunting with my kid Jeffrey,my buddy and his kid( Jeff and Roy).. We were able to locate this buck from 3 miles away. As Jeff and Roy kept a close eye on the buck Jeffrey and stalked within 100 yards. While figuring out how to make the final approach the herd got up and started to move towards another canyon. Flanking them slightly and thinking that's all we were going to get for a shot I ranged the buck at 83 yards,drew my bow,settled my pin and punched my release. The shot looked good until the buck turned away from me and my 29 1/2 inch arrow buried up to the fletchings in the "texas heart". The buck made it 150 yards before piling up in the brush. We didn't know exactly what I had shot until we got up on him,we just knew he was a big-framed old buck. After checking him out and taking pics we realized what an awesome trophy he was. He is 29" wide and we taped him out at 168 6/8. Got an early xmas present this year!!!!!

Well i should have been more specific because i'm not pointing any fingers at anybody disabled.More power to them for getting out there and doing it with a disability.I think you know the kind of guys i'm referring to. Just plain LAZY..

here's a buck I've been chasing for a week..finally caught up with him Friday the 23rd

Last January I'd been chasing a big 4x4 in the 28" range.I could only locate this buck every 3 or 4 days.Every time I located him I would come up with stalking plan and he had a plan of his own.Getting within 50 yards on 3 different occasions he would never present a shot.On the last day of the hunt I was able to locate him once more.As I watched this buck take his does down to a big flat I notice another herd of deer working it's way into the flats.The 2 bucks separate themselves from their does and it appears the big buck is going to push the smaller buck out of his territory and take his does, when all h*ll breaks loose..These 2 bucks were fighting like I've NEVER seen before.The fight was taking place in the flat 500 yards down the hill.I grab my bow and start running down the hill til I get within 100 yards and at that point I decide I should slow down to regain my composure(and more importantly my breath!).I quickly sneak through a creekbed til I'm well inside 50 yards,reach into my pocket for my rangefinder and nothing! Well that shouldn't be too difficult to guess the yardage, heck I've done it before many many times.He's got to be 40yards so I draw, settle my pin and fling!!! RIGHT OVER HIS SHOULDER!!!! rangefinder.never leave home without!! I know I NEVER will again...
