Will do bud, not trying to get anybody kicked off of here. I just want those certain people who can't figure it out, to use their heads!

I totally agree that CWT is far above other hunting forums, and that debate, when conducted maturely is a great asset to this site. I was trying to convey that I felt that the majority of regular users on this forum are top notch, but there are always a few rotten eggs. Some comments have bothered me, due to ignorance, but there is nothing anybody can do about that. I came to post this after reading a post and then checking out the person who posted it. You can click on a link to see everything that person has posted from their first post --> on. In doing so, I found that literally everything they posted was an argumentative statement that usually contradicted an earlier comment they had made on an earlier post. It just made me stop to think, why on earth did this person even get on this site at all? They had not created any threads, just replied to posts being a complete ---. So perhaps my post was directed towards that one individual, but its good for all to read. haha!

LOL! It was a male, but he sure was around 60 lbs. You should keep in mind that some of us who hunt, don't hunt trophies, I feel blessed to harvest whatever it is that I harvest. Not bummed out in the slightest. Thanks for watching the video!

Opps! It didn't attach in the above post. Lion Hunt (Email Quality).wmv

Thanks guys! What a hunt, not a monster cat by any means, but a mountain lion none the less! Does anybody out there know if it is better to embed the video, or post as a link?

Thats what you get for buying a Toyota Charlie, I saw a guy in a volkswagon bug doing donuts in the snow out there earlier haha! We will get that thing out tomorrow bud. See you at 5:30am. -
You guys are probably right that the pattern doesn't make much of a difference. Maybe its all mental, but I just feel better when my blind matches the terrain as much as possible, but that is just my preference. My grandpa calls me crazy for giving camo patterns so much thought, and he is probably right: The old man kills a deer every year in wool coveralls and flannel.

Gotcha. Yeah it is definitely something you have to get used to. I found that if I sit at an angle, with my feet towards the front left corner of the blind it is a little easier to draw. I just had to get used to shooting with my upper body twisted. I would sit far enough back in the blind so that I could slightly tilt my bow up when I did the initial draw, but again the farther back you sit, your range of vision decreases. A good stool/seat will make all the difference too. What sucks, is the backless seats are the best and when you sit for long periods it gets uncomfortable. I am no pro, but have bowhunted from blinds for years and the more you shoot out of it in your backyard, the more comfortable it gets. Hope that helps and good luck!

I used to use a blind with shoot through windows when I lived in WA and in MI. They seem like they will somehow deflect the arrow, but I never had a problem. With AZ being so dang hot, I have been trying spot and stalk and have yet to sit in that thing and "slow roast". If you want to try one out, I would have no problem letting you try mine. Having the shoot through windows does allow you to move around and draw your bow without notice, but in low light conditions I did have a little trouble with visibility. Keep in mind, I was hunting in dense timber most of the time, but I still experienced some visibility issues at low light while hunting corn and soy fields. That is just my experience with them. I just wish I could find a blind with Max-1 or Desert Shadow! Let me know if you want to give mine a whirl. Kris D

That pic is really clear for 200 yards, nice! Did you take it through a spotting scope? Hope you catch up to him next week!

2010 AZ Archery Coues Deer Hunt

Great video...Love those velvet bucks! In my opinion any velvet buck is a trophy, this one would still be without the velvet! -
Nice buck!!! Im guessing in the 170's for sure....Good work!
-
Congrats to both of you, those are two awesome bucks!

Terry - I got Ben from a bird farmer, turned breeder in Hurley, South Dakota. It took me 3 months to pick him out since I was waiting for a "true-black" roan male. When Ben turned one, I tried to email him to thank him again and send him some pics. Turns out he was busted for neglect and had around 173 felony charges! It can be googled and found pretty easily. Since I think the charges were dropped due to a technicality.

Love the GSP's! Here is my 1 year old Ben.

The bucks are chasing near Yuma...Next full moon is 21 Dec, so hopefully that will set it off.

Love and prayers....

What part of 24B are you hunting?? There are great bucks in there, but you have to find them!

I found an area with two really nice lions and I think it is time to focus on them since my coues hunt is over. What are your guys opinions on the best setup to call them in on? Would love to hear some hand-calling success stories.
