I have two sets of Scentlok, I bought them both on ebay and didnt pay that much so Im not too upset if they dont really work. I always wash everything in baking soda and take a baking soda field bath before I leave for the field. I think there is something arousing to the deer about baking soda maybe .

I personally am a Mathews guy, but in the latest issue of Bowhunter Magazine there is a serviceman in Iraq who wanted to hunt Ibex and Bowtech sent him and a couple of bows outfitted with everything needed. What a great thing for Bowtech to do. This kind of support makes me think I would definitely give Bowtech a try.

I agree, I remember the story a few years ago when the father of a young man walked up to the molester who was in FBI custody, right in the middle of the airport and CAPPED HIM IN THE HEAD. The jury found him not guilty. I even saw the video of it some years later, wish I knew where it was and I would try to link it.

Late hunt in 21 this past Dec my brother and I had scouted a real nice deer. We went to the hill where we had seen him several times and there were people camping on the water hole in the bottom of the canyon making lots of noise. We heard them all day long while hunting. When we got back to the quad about an hour after dark the key we had put under a rock was gone. We had just one quad between us and left the key in case we got seperated. It was about a 2 hour hike out to our truck, then we had to drive back in to get the quad.

Plumbing contractor, lots of construction going on right now. -
She wants to dig a MOAT!?! Maybe she could put some sharks in there, too!

I've never been but a friend whohas been in years past invited me so hopefully I will be there this year. It sounds like fun, ride the ski lifts up then take a leisurely walk down the mountain shooting 3D on the way down. No uphill hiking and lots of shooting, who wouldnt like that?

My brother has video of a deer he shot and while they were checking it out, counting horns, and slapping fives, they noticed two bucks in a bush about 15 yards away and videod them for about a minute just laying there under the bush thinking they were undetected.

az.sportsmen closing archery gear
grizzly replied to bowhunter4life's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I heard the whole store will be closing when the Sportsmans Wherehouse opens on Greenfield and Baseline. The Sportsman has been competing with Bear Mountain since I can remember, so I dont think that has as much to do with it. I cant wait for the new SW, I drive by there every week to see if they have started the planned conversion, nothing yet. -
What a joke! The gratest way to ensure that polar bears do go extinct is to outlaw hunting of them! With no hunters to fund and ensure their habitat protection they will be relegated to the dustbins of history. Like Ted Nugent says, The environmentalists picked their bird to save: the California condor. Hunters picked our bird to save: the turkey (which at one point was in as dire straits as the condor). The results speak for themselves. Crawl into a hole and die you idiot environmentalists and LEAVE THE REST OF THE WORLD ALONE!!!!

try the G&F website, I had that area last year for the archery season and I went to one of the other areas on my hunt because we saw nothing after 2 days of hard hunting. Hard to beleive its such a poor area when 37b just across the highway is one of the best in the state.

So there we have the answer, What are they going to do about it? Cover it up and deny it. Never mind the fact that someone died, just dont alarm the public. We dont want to scare away a large revenue source. Reminds me of the original JAWS movie. Im not the kind of person who sees black helicopters or beleives in conspiracies but this just seems very blatant to me.

I was under the impression that bucks taken on the res were not accepted into B&C. Dont know where I heard this, am I mistaken?

Definitely go with the Mathews, I have been shooting a Q2XL for over 4 years and just recently picked up a SQ2 off of ebay as a 2nd bow. By all means check out the deals on ebay.

Well I am happy to say that we have made a succcesful return. I beleive our population is 2! Eh Arizona Griz?

I had this problem on a 76 suburban. As I recall the solution I came up with was a temporary, I bought a lifetime warranty at Auto Zone and after about 6 or 7 replacementsin as many months they denied the warranty. The permanent soutin I found was --sell the truck.

Scott is the only way to go. For those of you in the east valley, the Arjixona Sportsman is closing out its archery section and all accessories are 30% off, including releases.
-
Mathews is the only way to go. You will never regret spending a little more money to get the best. Try picking up a used one on ebay.

first time, no training, 100%. Then again I am the Grizzly!

Any of you succesful hunters have a fresh hide you dont know what to do with? I am a scoutmaster and we have a Mountain Man Rendezvous coming up in March. We want to teach the boys to tan hides and give them something to trade up there. If anyone would like to donate deer, coyote, rabbit, or whatever hides you got I would probably be able to pick up in most parts of the valley. Thanks in advance.

So you are one of the Goodmans? ( I peeked at your profile) I am guessing that you are Sonny. If so then I knew you very briefly at Riggs. Desert Bull I would love to pick up that hide. If you could call me on the number listed above or drop me an email with your number I will make arrangements withe you, thank you very much.

I couldnt get into my spot in 21 on Friday morning due to a small wash that was a raging torrent. Decided to try another spot that was higher up. Too bad the road was all clay. Got my front end sunk at 9 AM, tried all day to get out, my brother came and got me out at 7 PM, truck stayed the night on the mountain.
