so how does the shoot work? If there are only 5 targets do you shoot each target only once? That shouldnt take long, dont know if that is worth paying $10 for though.

I have the Minox and the glass is great. As stated above and I have said before the eyecups dont feel very good and after several hours my brow always hurts.

How many of the 3D targets are set up? I have been up there the last 3 weeks but havent walked the course because I could see at least one of the stations and it didnt look like it had a target. I should be in for Thursday, look for the big red Dodge with plumbing pipe hanging out the back.

So I have had my camera in several different locations and never gotten a pic of anything. I dont want to put it on water because of thieves. I have put out salt blocks but I think that is a waste, especially since there are ranchers who put out blocks all over in this particular area. I have put it on trails leading to water with no luck. How do you determine a good location? I am thinking of making a mineral lick with the water softener pellets but dont know where to start with that. Do I just pick a random location? Do I need to look for animal crossing areas? Should the terrain be soil vs rocky? It is low desert where I put my camera and I have seen deer so they are there, but I dont know what I am doing wrong. Somebody please help a brotha out.

I went up there today and decided to drive around the parking lot and look for a CWT sticker, finally found one on a chevy duramax, licence plate said HUNTNUT. Nice rig.

I went last night with my two daughters to look at it. It is big and fun but I didnt think it was all that different from Cabelas. It makes me wonder how these two giants will coexist. Not to mention that I still like the Sportsmans Warehouse better, not nearly as big or flashy. The valley has gone from zero to five in the last few years and I wonder where the support will come from. The big piss off that I have is that Larry Miller is trying to tear down my softball park to put up his car lot across the street! Like we dont have enough car lots around here. Go back to Utah!

About 15 years ago this was a great unit for muleys. I still hunt pigs in there but the deer have really declined from what I have seen, granted now that I am married with kids I dont spend as much time as before but I do have several cameras in the unit that dont show alot of activity.
