Are you talking $500 for bare bow or outfitted? The Martin Firecat is a nice shooter with an IBO around 350 fps and sells for $550 brand new.

I have seen them out near the golf courses at Gold Canyon.

Anyone who has youngsters 10-14 this is a required class for them to hunt. Its also a good idea for anyone who hasnt had it yet, you would be surprised at what even grizzled old veterans can learn. Also earns you a permanent bonus point and meets the requirement for other states that require it. Registration starts tonight at 6:30 at Poston Jr High School. I will be taking my 10 yr old daughter and will also be an instructor, hope to see many of you there.

Let all of your friends know, the cost is only $8 and that is just to cover the materials that you will receive.

I didnt know there was a Pima County in Texas.

There are alot of private ranches on the south side of the Kelvin highway. Just look for posted signs, but there are tons of pigs out there and you will probably see some muleys as well, just pick a small hill and start glassing. On the search function, if a word has less than 3 characters try adding * to the end of it (shift 8). Many of the old posts on here were lost though due to server changes, dont remember how long ago that was.

So how much rutting are you seeing?
grizzly replied to Redbeard's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
saw a whitey in 23 that had a doe with him. My brother ended up shooting a big muley that had 6 does with him and rutting hard. -
Spot and stalk coues, especially that big is amazing. Congratulations.

grizzly replied to 300 ultra mag's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I second the notion, the Dead On videos are great, they usually put a new one out around Christmas, hope they do so again this year. -
Handgun carry during archery hunt
grizzly replied to live24wheel's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
That would get you in trouble, handgun is for personal protection only, that would be considered hunting. Just a word of caution. -
Got the new bow! Now for sights and rest!
grizzly replied to ajohunter's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Ripcord is the best rest by far out there, I have put it on my last 4 bows and probably will on my next four. As for the sights I have the Spott hogg seven deadly pins on one of my bows and am not that impressed with it for all of the money it cost. I like my Toxonics alot, also the Dusk Devil 2 by Montana Black Gold. If you decide you want the Spott hogg Pm me and I will hook you up with mine cheap. -
I am voting for the hacksaw!

Im with gamehauler on this, get the rechargeable battery with solar panel. You can get the panel for $15 and the battery for 10 out at Cabelas. Also Walmart has the 2Gb memory cards for $12 right now, I grabbed two at that price. -
Just what we need, another Kaibab Karp!
grizzly replied to cjw2222's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Ive seen some pics of some monsters that came out of there this year. Down at Bear Mountain they have some up on the board and Howie scored on a toad thats hanging on the cieling. Worth going down to take a look. -
For some reason my computer wont remember my ID when I get on the message board. I click the "remember me" box every time and its only been in the last month that its done this. I dont have this issue with any of the other boards that I frequent. Its not a huge deal but its definitely annoying.

Hermaphrodeer? Ive never seen anything like that but there was a post on Archerytalk last week with pics of an antlered doe.

here's another topic that folks should watch
grizzly replied to .270's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
They dont appear to attack livestock, but a fund is in place to reimburse ranchers whose livestock are attacked. Huh? Key to that story is jaguars shot and killed in Mexico, at least there is something that they do better than we do. -
said a number of times in the story, highly secret, highly secret, how secret can it be if its on the web?

Tough to say without a few more angles, those guesses all seem very high, I am going to say... ONE DOLLAR!!! ONE DOLLAR!!!

I bought a pair of Pentax 12x50 for my first pair of good binos. The glass is clear but the eyecups suck. They are made for eyeglass wearers and the best way I found to use them was to keep the eyecups down and put on my shooting glasses. That was a pain so I gave them to my wife who wears glasses along with a bird watching book. She loves the binos and the book and now looks forward to our scouting sessions so she can find birds.

Guilty. I was there for the safety meeting, stop me and say hi next time. -
Ive had some funky gamey meat come back from the processors and so I bought me a meat grinder that fits on my wifes Bosch and I do it all myself now. Its not as hard as you would think and I dont seem to have that problem anymore.

Is this a fun shoot or are you going to pay me to show up?
