I have a Husqvarna 137 E-Series chainsaw that I've decided to let go so I can get some optics for my new AR. I got this when my grandpa died 5 years ago. Its a 36cc 2hp powerhead with a 16" bar. Its in great shape and runs great. The bar is worn from typical use, but I know my grandpa didn't use it much. I've never used it because I have a good Stihl. When I got it , I pulled it apart and cleaned it up. Its been cared for and stored properly since, starting it every so often to keep the carb clean. I sharpened the chain even though I've never used it. It fired up twice this past weekend after the choke sequence. I did a quick search on value and saw them running anywhere from $130-$200 used (admittedly the $200 was CRAZY imo). They were discontinued a few years ago and I'm not finding much info on used saws. I'm asking $130 for it, but am open to reasonable offers, especially if someone can get me more info on it than I can find. I don't want to rip someone off; just want to get both of us the best deal we can. I'll even through in some bar chain that I know I won't use in my Stihl if you want it. We're planning a trip to the Valley for either the 18th or 25th for some school supplies for the kids, so I could bring it if someone wants to meet us in the Arrowhead Mall/Sportsman's area.

Excellent! Now lets hope he avoids the casinos! The chain should still be good. Haven't used it since I sharpened it!

Sold to Edge!

Yep those are the sticker from either UT or CO (before he moved to UT). I removed all those stickers and it just has the AZ Decal on the plate.

A few years ago my son got a youth tag and we were able to purchase an OTC javelina tag! It was an awesome 'desert safari'!!! Good luck! S. The only javelina tag I put her in for was the 19A/19B/17b/20A tag, hoping it would line up with her deer tag. Won't know what deer tag for a couple more weeks. If we ever go down south to chase deer for her, you can bet we'll grab one of the otc tags they offer...if they're still offering them!
-
Same here. My daughter will be chasing deer somewhere and I'm hoping that deer tag is the same as the javelina tag she drew. One trip, two tags would be great! I don't care if I don't get drawn at this point. I just love hunting with her!

Sounds good.

I'd do that for you. You've been good to me in the past. What do you have in mind for meeting up? Sherman, I'll be driving to my inlaws in El Paso mid-August. If I still have it and you still want it, I'll bring it wth me and we can meet off I-10

Where do you live? I'll probably be in the Valley one of these upcoming Saturdays. Can make something work of you're interested.

For what its worth, when I was researching that Husqy I have for sale in the classifieds, there were several places that still had parts listed for the Husqvarna 137. Sears, a Husqy dealer, had parts for the 137 and other places, too. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/137/3199/1503220.html http://www.ereplacementparts.com/husqvarna-137-200503-chainsaw-parts-c-114486_114487_114890.html http://www.husqvarnapartsdistributors.com/p/Husqvarna-137-Chainsaw-Parts

There's another one in Flagstaff July 25 if anyone is interested. Right now, I'll be running solo (as soon as I register), but am up for a team if anyone is interested.

That's awesome! Savage Axis II with the Muddy Girl stock? My daughter loves hers, although its the original Axis (youth model). A year later and she'd have picked that stock! Hers does great with Hornady factory ammo, but the loads I developed using RL15 are right around 0.5"! And love the Gila monster, too! I miss that about living in SE Arizona!

That's a black-throated sparrow. I thought five-striped at first, based on the head, but the big bib is the key. Five-striped sparrows have that little black dot. I always remember black-throated because they are BTSP on the abbreviation chart! http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Black-throated_Sparrow/id

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, but believe strongly in the cause, I'm making aware that the NWTF AZ State Chapter is also holding a month-long gun raffle for the month of May. A different firearm will be raffled off every day for the 31 days of May. 100% of the proceeds go to our NWTF AZ Youth (JAKES) program. This program helps sponsor all of the youth turkey hunting camps throughout the state as well as various other JAKES programs that are put on. This year, NWTF-AZ is partnered with Sportsman's Warehouse. If you don't like the firearm you are drawn for, you can exchange it for store credit at Sportsman's. I won a SW .38 a couple of years ago when BPS was the sponsor and I ended up with $500 in store credit. Tickets are 1/$20, 3/$50, and 7/$100. If you buy your tickets by April 15th, you will be entered into the Early Bird drawing for a chance at a Browning Yukon Gold 23 gun safe. You can see these details as well as the 31 firearms that are being raffled off in the pics below. If you are interested, PM me and we'll work out the details of getting a check or cash up to me. We also take credit cards, so you can call me (PLEASE DON'T PM ME YOUR CC INFO) with that info. I'll fill out your tickets and submit everything at once, sending your ticket stubs back to you as proof of legitimacy. I'm leaving early tomorrow morning to go see my in-laws in El Paso for a few days, so I may not respond right away to any PMs, but I will do my best from my phone. Thanks for looking and considering!

They are supposed to be called the moment they are drawn. I know my brother-in-law was drawn on one of the later-in-the-night drawings and got called the next day. If you want to PM me his info, I can call the RD doing the drawings. He should be able to walk into Sportsman's Warehouse and get it squared up. I think any of the Sportsman's will work, but I can find out when you send me his name.

That was me, although technically it was a maroon Dodge. All that mud must have made it look gray! If that was you in the UTVs, thanks for the tip on the roads ahead. Going back the way we came would have SUCKED! IA Born...."YOU GOT A HEMI IN THAT'? That was awesome! You made my day with that one! If you guys have the early rifle hunt, stay in touch. I'll share scouting info with you from my early archery hunt! I've got a camera not far from where we met up.

Not sure if that was you and your party in two UTVs we ran into today on the 530 Rd, but man it was MESSY out there this morning! That's the most I've had to use 4-Low since I've lived in Arizona!

Happy birthday, Mike! Hope you have a great one!
