    coyotes

I live in Holbrook and I have been calling coyotes since I was about ten also. It is one of my favorite things to do other that deer hunting. I have used an Antolope fawn distress and it works well. I use the Kat-nip form Primos and it seems to reproduce the fawn distress very well.

    changes?

I agree........ This is the third year that I have had the chance to hunt with my son. He has not been successful in bagging a deer, but,,,,,, he learns a lttle more every year. He is learning why they call it "hunting", and not "killing". I thought that I had a blast while hunting by myself, but taking him out there and spending time with him has been the best experience of my life. It is funny,,,,,,, when you watch those TV commercials that show the dad driving down the road with his son and they are not talking. Then at the end of the commercial it says "another chance to talk missed". I love sitting under a tree up on a ridge in the middle of the day, eating lunch with my son and talking. The thing that is nice is that I don?t have to do all of the talking. I have learned alot about my son just from going hunting with him.

    What hunting ISN'T.........

I agree it is hard to find solitude out there with some many hunters, and others. I am not sure about the rest of you but I like to get out there and away from people. That is why I like to pack in away form the roads. I have noticed that the people that act stupid out there don't like to work hard. I have yet to see any one pack beer in on there backs for 5 miles. It would be hard to have limitations. I feel for you. That is a good buck and you must have worked hard at helping your dad. GOOD JOB.

    Catch and Release hunting

Why don't they just use a camera if they want to catch and release? That would suck to wake up from a nap and find an important part of your body missing , don't you think? Hooked

azpackhorse, Yep,,,,,,,,, I have been three times. It is the best. Be sure to wear good boots or shoes. You will be doing alot of walking. Try and take a back pack also. The venders give out samples and all kinds of goodies. You will need a place to put it will you walk around. If you have any other questions I will try and answer them. P.S. I will be going this year,,,,,,I hope. Hooked

More D I talked with one of my friends that lives in St. David and he said that someone kill a lion on the next ridge over from where I missed that one. He said it was a tom and weighed 98 lbs.
