I’m right there with you Casey, that’s exactly what popped in my head. I always wanted a banshee, loves the sound of a 2 stroke. I had a bombardier Ds650 growing up. That thing was a tank. My favorite was my Suzuki LTR450. Sold it once I got married and man do I sure miss it. This thread brought back some good memories. Hope you find what you’re looking for bigmalcolm.

I’ve emailed the FS several times and all the information they reply with is vague. There are several areas that are a good 3hr drive from my house, I’d rather know they are accessible before I go... but I can never get a solid answer. The map they provide lacks in clarity as well, so you can’t tell much from it, or at least I’m too dumb to be able to. They opened more trails recently and updated that on their website.

I’m with you, don’t understand why majority of the mountain is closed. I was hoping things would look better before my hunt, but I doubt it will with only a few weeks left. Sucks that it’s closed to foot access too, not worth the fines to risk it either, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m half tempted to get rid of my swaros and buy these... I could use the extra money to buy a new barrel🤣. Where are you located?

I have a 1-8 7mm mag. I shoot the 180 hybrids and love them. I also shoot 162 Sst’s and they shoot lights out. I thought about shooting the 195’s, but don’t think I would gain much if I did. I do feel like the 195 would be great for the 28 nosler though. You can probably get away just fine with a 1-9 twist, but if it were me I would do 1-8 and never look back. I don’t know much about proof barrels or carbon wrapped in general because they are out of my price range. I did see that Bartlein barrels is offering carbon wrapped barrels now.

I will admit hole heartedly that I’m a dumb butt... I bought a new water heater and was trying to save a few bucks by installing it myself. Could not get a direct replacement so the size was a little taller and now I’m in desperate need of a plumber after failed attempts to make it work. Anyone on here a plumber or know one that you would recommend? I’m in Marana.

How much for the 180 accubonds? Will you ship?

I’ve had difference in lots similar to this with nosler accubonds that I load for my brother in law. I shoot bergers for myself and rarely see anything more that .005” of a difference between lots.
