Killed this bull on the 11th day of the archery hunt, chased bigger bulls around and passed up many smaller before settling on this bull. Great hunt with my father calling him in, paybacks for me and a buddy calling his 360 bull in 2 years ago. His is my profile pic.

Thanks for all the nice posts! We were a little surprised to see him in velvet too and it looks like the deer have been eatin well he was pretty heavy for a young buck and had a nice little layer of fat on him. Good luck on everyones upcoming hunts!

Here is a couple pics of my daughters first deer taken on the junior hunt in unit 33, she made a great 1 shot kill at 275 yards with her 25-06 on a 2x2 velvet buck, it was a fun hunt and we were happy grampa was there for her first deer. Hopefully she will get her 2nd javelina next month. Good job J!
