I rented a cabin a few years back at Mormon Lake. Awesome area and it seem like it was reasonable.

I agree with Shane. don't chase the bargain, you will be looking at this for many years, you want to reflect on the memories of the hunt, not how big of a hammer you need to get even with your choice of taxidermists. There are a few that do awesome work, and the difference between good and great is all the small details that the greats do. (nasal membrane and eyes) are my pet peeve. I recommend you go online to the few that you are going to consider and look at the deer they have mounted and the details that are important to you. Just my .02

I think they are all javelina based on the available evidence. the photo is very poor quality to make a strong identification.

I would absolutely love to get one, have been out of work for two years. Had a choc male that I had to put down a few years back, wanna see a grown man cry !!!!( for weeks) . If I bought a puppy right now I am sure to lose my wife as well. They are gorgeous !

Jim White head is head and shoulders above the rest, I have 2, one for my 15x56 Swarovski's and the other is on another tripod for my spotting scope.

The Bear is not even close to being in the same league as the Diamond. The Diamond is the way to go in my opinion.
