http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/06/15/rogers-iraq-sectarian-civil-war-is-as-dangerous-as-it-gets-for-us-allies/ Since the pull out, things are stabilizing there quite well. Tongue in cheek of course. The lives lost, the bodies and minds shattered, the families of American service men and women wasted on this abomination - I can't find the words.

Would you rather buy from Big Box stores or the little guy?

Bonecollector hit the nail on the head with his last post. If any of the "little guys" want to, they can be part of Amazon or even Walmart.com - these sites don't just sell what they stock, they sell on behalf of thousands of online vendors. If you have a product to sell, getting it in front of as many buyers as possible is crucial. Don't rely on people finding your site, get it on the sites everyone is already using. -
Certainly didn't mean to imply that at all! I was just reflecting on my own observations. Happy Father's day to you.

That WT deadhead is CRAZY. Turned it for ya.

Name one of these that isn't happening right under your nose. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. Gain control of all student newspapers. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms." Control art critics and directors of art museums. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy." Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch." Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man." Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

Happy Father's day. When it hits the fan, you're gonna soak it up. In moments of glory, get used to the fact that you probably won't be recognized. Dads are unsung heroes but they wear that badge with honor. What dads do isn't for glory or recognition, it's for being that quiet rock that is there to give everything and expect nothing and relish in those moments when your kids do something truly exceptional. I'm blessed by the way I see my sons growing up and becoming young men. They have all given me the best "Father's Day" present I could ask for.

Read The Naked Communist, or if you don't have time just go on YouTube and search for it. Common Core is part of a brainwashing experiment in place since the late 60's/early 70's. If nothing else, read the goals laid out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Naked_Communist Pay special attention to #13 on. That's where it gets into social reformation.

IMO, both are falling further behind each day. Most Americans these days are buying more-and-more online. Amazon Prime, is a "prime" example. It used to be that Amazon.com was a good place to buy books. Now we are buying our clothes, basic need things like tools and recreation equipment, even food items from Amazon. Wal-Mart owned the area of "everything in one place" for a long time. Now Amazon has everything in one place - your keyboard - with fast and free shipping, better selection and lower prices than even the box stores can offer. My $.02 -
I've been really trying to steer away from politically themed topics these days as they generally divide more than they unite, on this forum and others. But despite all the horribly corrupt scandals going on right now, the VA, IRS targeting, F&F, Benghazi, Sebelius, Solyndra - each with their own weight to sink any legitimate president, one stands out that I can not believe hasn't finally congealed and been the turning point among common-ground Americans. Obama, against the advice of his highest ranking military advisers, releases 5 of the most dangerous men in the world from Gitmo, knowing they will kill Americans in exchange for a pansy traitor - who broke lines and deserted, while 6 good men died trying to "save" him, and others died while he helped direct fire on their positions and gave intel on how they would react to a direct attack. Meanwhile looking the other way while a "true" hero, Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, is held, beaten, threatened in a Mexican drug-cartel owned prison. Kerry had every opportunity to advocate for his release and refused to do so. If there is an inkling of doubt in your mind whether obama is just incompetent, or whether he is actively, and very successfully "transforming America" into a 3rd world country, this should be your wake up call.

Wow TJ, looks like this could be the year for you. Best of luck, my friend. If you do draw, you know you've got another set of eyes and optics there ready to help out in any way.

My dad is an amazing fly fisherman. He built for me a fly-rod that has some of the most intricate threadwork I've ever seen. The countless hours he spent on it make it one of my most treasured items. He also handed down to me a Howard Hill longbow (signed) and cedar shafts with turkey fletchings the old Fred Bear heads - along with the same leather quiver and iconic wrist protector Howard used in the original Robin Hood movie - back when the actors actually had to make the shots in their movie.

Not to derail here, but isn't that smell of your sleeping bag when it's been put away for some time just awesome? My dad had an old Coleman canvas tent, and there was just something amazing about the smell of the tent, the sleeping bags, cots, the old pump-up stove and lantern. You just knew you were on the hunt - the dutch oven cooking, a little misty morning, the cold air on your face... just paradise.

Wow, that's a stud for sure.

Awesome glass at a great price.

Find a 100% cotton canvas shell with 9 pounds of hollow fill with the nicest, coolest cotton inside for under$100. Butler bags have the same thing, but can you get one of them for the same price? http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/rectangle-sleeping-bag-by-guide-gear.aspx?a=259444

Nice job! Fabricating boxes kind of becomes an obsession doesn't it? In staying true to my word on the "pay it forward" thread, some deserving person gets a custom cam box on me. Looking forward to building it.

Wow, that'st great. Nothing cuter than bear cubs. Thanks for sharing the pix.

IMO, this isn't about bigotry or what defines a marriage. It's about freedom. I won't presume to define marriage or morality for anyone else. That is their business. At the same time, I don't want Government stepping in and telling me how I should define morality or how I can conduct my business.

Not always cheap, but I've found Under Armour products to be very well made. From a layering perspective, the Heat Gear makes a great base layer and compared to Sitka and Kuiu is pretty affordable - especially if you check the sales on their website. I lucked into some poly/cotton blend long sleeve t-shirts a while back and have found layering thin poly, to cotton poly works great when you have to go from cold morning to warm mid-day hunting with little bulk.

I've tried selling this stuff with no luck so it's free to whoever wants it. No shipping, of course. If you feel inclined, make a small donation to CWT, or just "pay it forward". Factory rims from an '08 Tacoma. Set of 4. Two army-style cots. Cadet heaters. 4 toe-kick 220V and one in-wall unit - not sure if it's 110 or 220V, but I think it's 220.
-
Definitely good penetration - oh, wasn't this a broadhead topic?

To be fair, some of you guys have called "dibs" on this stuff, but until somebody comes and picks it up it's fair game. Clay, I'll bring the cots by the next time I come through town and we can meet up if they are still available, Mule, if your cousin can pick up locally that's great. Willy, if you want the heaters they are yours. At the same time, I'm giving this stuff away to make room, so it all goes to the first person who shows up and gets it.
