Because it's so picture heavy, I'm breaking it into parts... training day...

Wow - just amazing. My family fell in love with slot canyons years ago. Started with Spooky and Peek-a-boo not too far North from where I think those were taken. We're headed to Zion Monday morning to hopefully do the Subway from the top and Orderville via Birch Canyon. We've done Ding and Dang in little wild horse, several cool arches, various slots and narrows in southern Utah. I'd love to pick your brain on new cool places to visit like that. Thanks for sharing your amazing photography with us.

Yeah, I suck at judging them too - he's mid-low 70's if he's narrow. We don't have a look at his spread so it's hard to give him more than that. My wife said 80 but she admittedly is taking a wild guess.

I tried "chew" when I was young. Lucky for me I sat between two Cherokee kids on the school bus with a folgers can spitting brown skoal spit into it. I had to be 6-7 years old. The smell on that bus ride made it impossible to ever put a dip in my mouth, even though every single kid I grew up with in the Oklahoma sticks had a chew in constantly. I can't go any further without pointing my own hypocrisy. To this day I love a good cigar. My oldest showed up the other day with a dip in and a cigarette in his hand. How do I tell him I don't approve when he's doing what myself and everyone else around him is doing at some level? My hat is off to you for kicking what my mom calls "the nastiest habit ever". We're imperfect people, but striving to overcome the vices you dislike in your life shows a LOT of character. I'll be keeping you in my mind and prayers. You can do it, I know it.

So, we ditched our cable and watch everything though our ROKU box. Mostly netflix. One thing we miss is being able to watch college baseball. The channels we've tried seem to be only press conferences and highlights of past games. Is there a good channel we can add that shows live college baseball games?

Unfortunately, no. I looked hard for the other side but didn't find it. Funny thing is, I found this and two chalkies within about a 1/2 hour and thought I was going to tear it up. Despite covering a LOT of ground I never found another horn that day.

I've been holding back on this post for a while. I've boiled out a lot of skulls but something struck me odd on some recent javi skulls. It seems the teeth are crusted in what looks like gold. I pretty much discounted this as being nothing more than mica in the sand, but some of the characteristics lead me to think these pigs could be rooting around in gold-rich soil…
