Coach replied to 452b264's topic in Classified Ads
would you ship? -
That's it. I'm getting a boat.

Paramount is now offered in .40 which could be really nice. The initial things I've seen so far look pretty impressive.
-
Yeah then they lose that $13 per application - that's not going to happen

That's a great price. If I didn't already have two I'd be all over it. Side note, I use to live at Tatum an Jomax haha

Hey guys, just a question/observation about my hunt last weekend in 22. I haven't hunted that unit in a long time, but drew it as a second choice. All the places I have hunted it in the past are all burned up so I branched out and started looking at new country. I was staying in Punkin Center and spent several days covering the country from Jakes Corner to North of Gisela - all on the East side of 87. After 5 days I saw exactly zero javelina and very few tracks while walking washes and around the foothills. I was not just driving around either - I spent quite a bit of time glassing from high points with excellent vantage. By opening day, there were a ton of hunters in the same area, so I have to assume that it's usually pretty good in there. Was this just an off year? Was I just missing them? Thanks in advance, Coach

I'm not going to show my son that - haha!

I knew those wouldn't last long!

I'll take the holster and Jim White adapter cup. I'll contact my son to see when he can pick up at your place and IM you. Thanks!
-
I don't think they actually it affects wildlife routines, so much as they are using that as a plausible sounding justification.
-
Excellent job - that's no easy feat! I'd love to hear the story and how it all came together. Congrats!
-
Same here - I picked up 2. One for me & one for my son. Great deal and big thanks for the heads-up.

My take is, I can't go get an OTC archery tag in NM, CO, UT, NV, etc. so I'm not real big on having an army of out-of-state hunters flooding one of the few opportunities we residents used to count on while building points for some of the desirable hunts.

That's hilarious - I'm only a couple pages in so far but pure internet gold.

Portions of Prescott NF to close to campers until Jan of 2023
Coach replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
I'm all for it, I just wish they hadn't blamed it on campers, and called it what it really was - a bunch of dirt bags living in the woods indefinitely and trashing the place. Is it just me, or does it seem like everything's going to heck at an unbelievable pace? -
When are they going to realize stuff like this just creates an even bigger divide between normal hunters and wildlife officers?
-
Darn missed it. If it falls through I'm definitely interested.

Wow, that's one heck of a first buck! Great job. You know he's hooked for life now.

Selling my Spas 12 - Hollywood's favorite shotgun. It goes pump or semi-auto. (It was designed for military use, and they need pump when less-leathal rounds like rubber or bean bags that don't have enough powder to cycle in semi-auto are used). This one has the original factory folding stock and factory "hook". I'm asking $1200 - which is what I paid for it. I don't have to sell, and I won't take a loss, so the price is FIRM. They're listing around $1400 on gunbroker. There are a couple out there now (as of 12/1) with "buy it now" or starting bids ranging from $1400 - $1800. No trades please. PM me with any questions.
