I'm glad to see this topic as I've seen immediate impacts in my community that I'd like to share. We employ 150+ minimum wage workers at my facility and it's been my pleasure to identify where we are "losing" with this increase for them: * My work no longer supplies free coffee (avg 210 cups / day consumed) * We negotiated a deal with the vending machine company for free coffee. As soon as minimum wage increased they removed the free coffee. It is now sold in the vending machine. $1.25 / cup. * My company has stopped providing plastic silverware and plates in the break room. I hate eating my yogurt with my finger! * We cut the 2nd shift from 52 to 37 employees. 15 people lost their job. * The place where my son gets his haircut raised their price from $12.50 to $15.00 per haircut. Not sure why, but they didn't wash his hair before cutting it. Might be something new or just an oversight. * The ice cream shop no longer has the "buy 10 - get 1 free card" and they are not continuing any current cardholders. I had 7 stamps dang it! * My barber shop fired the kid that cleaned up the floor while the guys cut hair. * My mechanic shop got rid of the 2 girls that delivered vehicles to / from customers. Owner said the forced increase was the last straw. Someone asked if the increase has trickled up. In my facility, those who make $11 / hr are now very upset the gap has been narrowed as they have more difficult jobs. Managers like me will receive a 15% decrease in bonus this year. The most puzzling part about this increase is the amount of workers that have quit. We have lost over a dozen associates who have been with us for 7 years who have quit because they would "make too much money and not qualify any longer for gov't assistance programs". We have quite a few that cannot work overtime due to the same rationale.

It would help if you guys stated what type of vehicle and mileage you are getting out of your tires. . There's a big difference between a 4k lb rig and one that weighs over 8k. Would be nice for Amanda to post a sticky with this info for future reference. My experience with plenty of off-road travel, but limited pulling: Dodge 1/2 ton Gas - BFG A/T = 40k miles BFG M/T = 30k miles Toyo M/T = 40k miles Dodge 3/4 ton Diesel - Nitto M/T = 22k miles Toyo M/T = 26k miles

If you got 20k with the BFG you'll get 16k with these....

looking to see if any of you have a trailer to rent or could recommend someone to rent one from. I've owned a trailer my entire adult life, but had to sell mine a few months ago when my family had some emergency medical issues. My son and niece have a unit 10 bull elk hunt starting the day after thanksgiving. Looking to rent 11/23---12/02. Thanks, Wade 928-276-6 five 5 four

I'm not understanding the cloth / no cloth. Seems to make quite the difference...?

After some research it appears I would be dropping over $1k so I decided to buy one instead. Thanks for the replies....
