Anyone recognize this tree stand and Camera?
azpredator@work replied to Bownut98's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I have a treestand in 22 right now and a trail cam underneath it. Due to work, I have been unable to return to collect them. I live 5.5 hrs from the spot and have had 2 days off since jan 5th. If it is not there it has been stolen. Whether it was stolen according to the fs laws or someone stumbling upon it the fact is I was the only purchaser. You never know someone's circumstance, but you do know if you bought something or not. There's no justification in my mind... -
Started planning on Wyoming 5 years ago and paid off this year. Drew an archery unit 41 tag. Any cwt members or friends hunt this unit for elk in the past? It's going to be a looong drive, but worth it. 23 vacation days this year will come in handy. Would love any info I can get. Thanks, Wade

Was it hidden? Surprised the other side was not found. Wouldn't think he went very far before getting rid of the other side.

Good deal in a phenomenal pack. Cant believe this pack hasn't sold yet! -
the 1850 is my 4th kuiu pack - what do you want to know? I like external frame packs when I'm backpacking in and want the capability of hauling a comfy "full load" out. What sold me on the 1850 was the ability to add such a large load in between the pack and the frame when needed. Also, In about 5 mins or less you can dissasemble the carbon frame and make it an internal frame pack. Basically, 2 packs in 1. Cool design - very functional. Adjustable yokes make a world of difference. Wish the shoulder straps were a little more narrow, but that's about the only thing I would change on this pack. Hope this helps, Wade

Goodbye Packframe, Hello ICON 1850!

Love my 1850. Also like how I can use it as a stand alone pack or attach it to the carbon frame for load hauling. -

How many animals have you harvested in Arizona
azpredator@work replied to Seldom Drawn's topic in The Campfire
5 bulls, 5 Mulies, 4 Coues, 13 Javis, 1 Antelope and a bobcat with a bow. a few more elk and deer with a rifle, but those don't count Great to see so much success from the CWT family - keep up the good work! My 15 year old son and the hunts I'm most proud of: 4 bulls, 2 coues, 3 javis -
moved tag discussion to campfire for further debate and hate mail. :)

They printed my archery tag 5 times because of an alignment issue with the printer. I got a duplicate "because the line was so long and they couldn't contact the sup to void it out." No wonder they ran out... -
Awesome day. Looking forward to hearing more of your hunt. I was up in my treestand and only had a spike walk under me all day.

Using a ground blind, need advice
azpredator@work replied to AzHuntingAddict's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Brush it in well and make sure you break up the outline of the roof. Place it down wind of the expected game travel. If possible, face your shooting window North so the sun doesn't penetrate as much and the netting doesn't prohibit your visibility. Close as much of it as you can. Leave just enough window open so you can comfortably shoot. Set it up a few days ahead of time to air it out. I spray mine down at the house and again in the field. My son shot his first coues buck out of a ground blind at 6 yards on a travel route to a bedding area. They can be a lot of fun and you can film your hunt as well. Good luck. -
Well, dissapointed is an understatement.... . 9k pics and only 6 different bucks. Have never hunted deer in this spot yet, but this may be the year if it doesn't get snowed out again. These guys need to be wiped out... Teaser buck from year's past...same spot.
