Great job - congratulations! -
This is a new area for me as well. I’ve been able to spend 7 days scouting so far and haven’t seen a shooter buck yet just a couple spikes and around 100 does. I’m closing on a house Friday so I have to miss the opener which will probably kill my chances. Hope you find what you’re looking for and have a great hunt!

Posting this again after being strung along from flaky buyer...Need money for this fall. $1000 firm Round count = 196 Limbsaver butt pad installed Match grade barrel - Sako guarantees 5 shot MOA Micro bastard brake installed by Phoenix custom rifles > PCR said the rifle "looked new" when they looked it over. I have everything since new. Box, tools, etc... **I found one scuff mark in the rubberized stock seen in picture - otherwise looks new** I have over $1800 into this rifle and it shoots great, but don't need it anymore. Thanks - Wade 9282766 five five four 136 yard target w/ factory ammo - it's the 4 shots over the bullseye This was 700+ yds w/ factory ammo mark on stock

Scissor jack for me. Too many times the jack point is really close to the ground. Get one that raises over 15 to give you enough clearance to get the new tire onto.

Figured I'd try and put together a clip of my hunt from last year. Not the best quality - still learning how to self film & edit. An ex-buddy of mine spent 4 days filming me and got a ton of great footage, but he still has the camera and footage. Hence..."ex"buddy. I ended up passing half a dozen mature bulls and killed my bull 4 days after passing him the first time. Got really windy on the hunt and I wasn't finding anything better so I ended up going back where he was at and killing him. Fun hunt, tons of elk everyday w/ decent bugling. Most of my footage is right after the action when I could yank the camera out and get footage. Hope you enjoy, Wade

Been a few years since my son had his hunt there, but we found no issues getting around or finding elk. Plenty of public land. We had to buy a habitat stamp to camp and another stamp for the quad. We called his bull in without a tree or bush taller than 6 within a quarter mile. We humped up in front of a rock - was the darndest thing, but a lot of those elk are in the prairies. Good luck...
