my son dropped his phone in a bucket of water when washing my truck. Anyone have experience with any companies who do these types of repairs? Or, is it a total loss? Thanks for your help... Wade

He declined the insurance and when I found out about it I purchased insurance from square trade. It was $100 and $75 deductible per phone replacement. Unfortunately, I signed up 36 days after purchase and they have a clause stated you must purchase warranty within 30 days of original purchase so the claim was denied. I spoke with a couple repair shops and essentially have a paper weight at this time. Both told me rice is no good due to the minerals left behind that throw the device off.

Thanks for the feedback. This happened last week. He immediately turned it off, blew it out with compressed air and put in it rice. It turns on, but only shows the apple sign. Hoping he's not lost it completely as it took him forever to save the money to get this one....

I'm opposite of avgjoe. Love my helim. Like the size and weight. The one in the pic has a different grip than the original. Has the focus grip making it slimmer than the original wood.

My vortex failed so I bought a Zeiss HD which failed me this Oct. Both were mfg failures. You never know, but happy they found a loophole for you and replaced it.

I put my niece in for bull (she didn't want to kill a cow) from 12-18 and she never drew. Now, in college, she has lost any desire to hunt. What a shame.... If I were in your shoes, I'd put them in for NM and WY as well as Az to better their chances. Good luck

I had the October deer hunt there and we ran into pigs on numerous occasions. Not easily found in the tall grass, but found tracks everywhere.

I have the cabelas space suit and kuiu ultra nx. I've worn the ultra for 3 days and it's awesome. A little worried about its durability.

Disgusting. Repeat offender obstructing justice should require a lifetime ban with heavy fines. Only high fenced hunts for this POS. I met him a few years ago and thought he was a good guy. Even sent a client his way. What a bummer and disappointment in the justice system.

I have the shv and like it. The zero stop is not as solid as the Zeiss hd which I also have, but works fine.
