You should go to a pro shop and shoot a couple of different bows to see which 1 fits you best. They will set you up with everything you need.

Make sure to level scope and rifle so cross hairs are straight. Tighten rings the same on both sides. Put a target at 25 yards shoot a round at the bullseye. After you shoot put your rifle scope back on the bullseye then move the cross hairs to where you hit with first round. Shoot again should be close to bullseye.

Its just what you like. I like the biscuit don't have to worry about your arrow flopping around while on a stalk. Mine shoots great. This is about my average group at 90 yards. So I don't think it will affect arrow flight other than you will lose about 5 feet per second.

Let it play when they get into shooting distance bark at them they will stop and give you shot. Make sure you are completely concealed full camo gloves face covered. They can see very very well. Also you might try some kind of decoy set it up about 50-75 yards away. It will get them focused on the movement of the decoy. Good luck
