Wow I hope she never comes across a rattlesnake and tries to save it. Crazy to put it in the car, Ive had fights with domestic cats and had my hands full! -
Nice goat. I guessing he isn't going to mount it?

I gutted one a few years back that had a jacked up rib and one lung that was dang near split in half from a previous shot. The hide was pretty tough around the broken rib so im guessing he was shot and laid down and lived through it.

Hunters morals and ethics should kick in and do the right thing. I shot one onetime about 30 minutes til dark knew I had a good hit looked for awhile that night and kept looking for 4 more days and found it dead. I kept the skull the meat was a loss!

A few years back a good friend and myself went into a area we consider our backup spots depending on hunting pressure. Right off the bat maybe 15 minutes into daylight we had a herd of deer grazing. We closed the distance to both choke at 225 but both dropped our deer further out off hand. Mine was at 418 and his 376. Go figure, we have both dropped many deer at different ranges (50yrds - 500) and we choked at 225. We still laugh about it. It happens and practice is always a big plus.
