My son's youth hunt buck. He shot this buck openning day after a hard day of glassing and hiking. Walking back to the truck and glassed this buck with a small 4x4 on a ridge near our truck. He made a 100 yard shot and the buck walked off he tried a second shot but missed. We went up on the ridge to look for blood and he found his buck lying in the grass. 25" 3x3 field dressed at 135lbs. This is his second deer he shot a Coues last year in 36A One proud Dad! azyoung

Last weekend was the best hunt in my life! Watching my son shoot a nice buck and seeing how proud he was to show his buck to the great people at the youth camp. Great memories and special thanks Stan for your work in the Jr youth camp. I will pledge my support for the youth camps. Thanks!! azyoung

Stanley, Thank you! Riley will be glad to hear he won the pellet gun. A 12 year old boy can always use a new pellet gun. I was sorry not to meet you at camp. It was great to see everyone react to his buck. He was floating on air all day. The camp was great and I was glad to meet Amanda. I will send her the pic and Riley's story. My 12 year old son has a 23 Jr. any antlered tag. Last year he shot a nice Coues buck down south and this year is looking for a mule deer or a bigger Coues. We have been scouting around Young and seeing some nice deer I thought I would check and see If some of you guys might have some suggestions on other areas to look at. Thanks, azyoung

In 36B several years ago we found in a canyon north of Ruby a small cave that had a military cot, camo uniform, water food and a case of 45 ammo we got nervous and left. Later reported it to the Game and Fish he said it could be anyone from the feds to a drug scout. He aslo said that someone is always watching you when your down along the border. azyoung

gnoto, I think your right the southern units have to much traffic as is with the minute men potrol its going to draw more people in the area with the minute men, protesters and the media. I hope they cancel or reschedule so they don't effect anyone's hunt. azyoung
