Chuck Schumer then and now comparison of ban support
AzPlumber replied to n2horns's topic in The Campfire
Well they did predict Trump would destroy the Party, just happens to be the Democrat Party. -
Semi-auto will absorb some recoil and allow for an easier second target shot.

Haven't been to BA in years so not sure how busy it gets but I would start out on trap and then progress to skeet. Sporting clays is a blast and would also be a good one to start with.

Congrats that's a big Lion and lots of good eating, IMO it's the best game meat.

Congrats, nice Buck. The battle scars might be intact but looks like he mounted it upside down.

Congrats, the first one is always the hardest.

Arizona Bill Would Ban Mountain Lion, Bobcat Hunting
AzPlumber replied to 87lc's topic in Mountain Lion
This goofball Senator wants the public to vote on his bill. Who in their right mind thinks the general public should manage wildlife? That's like asking for medical advice on a public forum. -
2500 Lions would consume 125,000 Deer size animals a YEAR. A good steward of the State's finances would support hunting and the money it brings into the State. Not support a ban on hunting Lions that costs to manage the population would fall solely on the State. Not to mention a reduction in big game tags and associated lost income to the State due to an increase in Lion population.

Feeler For Interest Online Shooting Tournament
AzPlumber replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
So, if your rifle shoots 3" high at 100 do you hang the target 3" higher. -
Sorry it didn't work out for you. I think the cheese hat scares them, they aren't accustom to seeing one like WI Deer are.

Apparently this Farley dude hasn't taken a look at the California model for Lion management. Wait for a Lion to eat someone or their pet and then the State tracks it down and gets to kill, all at a cost to taxpayers. Not sure how true but remember seeing a statistic that the State of California culls as many or more Lions then hunters ever did. Politicians should stay out of the management of game animals.

Only put Elk & Antelope on the same application if you intend to hunt a hybrid.

Dark silverish (sorry bad with colors) Tundra at Ace Hardware Gilbert Rd & Baseline this morning.

Either they heard or smelled you.

If the hunt is full on your first choice it will still be full on any additional choices.

Congrats, the first one is always the hardest and most rewarding.

I can throw like a girl with my left hand, does that count?

Arizona bill that would let you shoot snakes
AzPlumber replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
Only if it's a very long branch and fingers from someone else. -
In my opinion nothing beats a scream'n slobber'n Bull inside 20 yards and a bow in my hand.

I prefer to spot them first before making a stalk. You may find they have decided to move (sometimes during the night) to a different area.
