I think it is a coues. I cant imagine how many big coues were trolling around back in the 80s and alot of people never look for a couesin typical muley country so thats where they get big.

I just got back my 2010 Bear from CMC SkullWorks, Cole VanWinkle bugged the head out then whitened it. He did a fantastic job and he always does. If you guys want quality work done I recommend CMC SkullWorks - Here's some pics, the skull is on the bear hide.

Did any one on here have any luck at Roosevelt this weekend (25-27)? My camp had 4 fishers in it and only caught 16 bass, 1 crappie, and 2 bluegills. I shot at some fish with no luck either. Saw many big bass in the shallows but they werent biting much of anything. Got them to chase green spinerbaits then today they were hiting muddogs. Our biggest catch was a 6lb bass. My dad had a 8lb bass but it flipped off the hook in the weeds.

Cole Van Winkle, owner of CMC Skullworks, bugged out my 2010 Archery Coues Deer, degreased it, and then whitened it. I have never seen such quality work, its trully amazing how much detail there is. And the customer service is outstanding too. I recommend CMC Skullworks to anyone who wants to get their animal skulls done the right way. how ironic? I just saw that today, I went there to get a trolling motor for the boat so I can go and fish Roosevelt this next upcoming weekend. Most of the mounts there are very good. -

I saw this deal on cabelas and wanted to know if these cams are any good. I have a bear hunt coming up and i only have one cam left after getting 2 stolen this year. They are called: Wildview Extreme 3 Infrared Scouting Camera – 2-Pack thanks
-
a cam stolen is common these days and it sucks, ive had 2 stolen that were locked this year. and that is a very nice buck, thanks for sharing

looking at it again i took in another couple details. when the lions body is angled down with the head up there are wrinkles on the top of the head, which youve shown. And in the position the cat is looking up with his eyes(towards where the viewer would be) the pupils would be at the top instead of middle, so you have the eyelids come down over the top part of the eye, which youve executed. Very good job, nice way paying attention to the small details.

the lion mount is a very hard mount to get right or even perfect, espesially in the facial features. in this mount you perfected it and the base made it even more outstanding

Mountain lion in a cage trap!

is there a trapping season on lion though? in certain areas? -
That reconyx snaps pictures faster than you can blink. And it is outstanding on batteries. I use rechargable lithium AAs and they last around 40,000 pics. I had it on this spot for a week on 1% battery power and it took 1652 pics, it was still at 1% when i checked it.
