I have 4 boxes of the ELDX but I keep getting a lot of negative feed back on them for brown bear. I was hoping to switch to the TTSX or I’ll be using the eldX anyway. thanks though.

I bought the eberlestock main frame last October. I’ve packed 7 bulls and a bear with it so far and it’s awesome.

I have two sets that were both purchased used off this site. I’ve sent them both in for repairs a few times without any issues. Try going online and registering them before the repair maybe?

Tough animals. I made a bad shot on a bull in September. Shot was at 7AM. I sat on the bull all day until I was finally able to sneak in at 5PM, and put 2 more arrows in him.

Did you find out when it was shot? I’m curious how long he lasted with the gut shot?

I wish I was that brave with LEOs. Before he checked our tag, I informed him that we were aware of the boundary and that our tag was only good for across the street and we decided to camp where we did for the nice shade. He immediately took an attitude and We were less than 100 yards from the boundary line.

I’ve wondered the same for years, but I haven’t had the guts to try it. Especially since most the Leo’s I’ve ran into seem like they’re out to get me. I was harassed pretty hard for camping in the wrong unit one year, luckily I didn’t get a ticket.

I shed hunted hard for the first time last year and picked up over 50 sheds. I would start walking as the sun was rising and wouldn’t make it back to the truck until well after dark. I carried a pair of 10s to glass short distances and I hunted areas I was familiar with that I knew had animals. Don’t over think it and just start walking. Even if I didn’t find anything I was still learning a lot about the areas I’ve hunted for years and I think it paid off during hunting season last year. Pack a lunch and lots of water!
