I started using him last year and he did a coues for me and a bull for my brother! Bret does great work, I'll have to post the pictures some time.

The no Texas rodeo rule is why I haven't tried yet. I was all ready to build a stand and swivel chair in the bed of my truck like the movies! Lol

I believe it is only certain units or potions within a unit and with a shotgun. Mostly sheep and antelope country and some units you can hunt lion at night.

Those are pretty good guesses. Definitely some type of insect. I was thinking an ant when I first looked but who knows.

Which Costco are you guys going to? I just stopped in at the one buy sportsmans in Phoenix and all they had was a 35 quart for $200 And SAMs club had a 45 quart for $205

This would be hilarious! But all calls will come from 602-942-3000. So don't worry about missing the restricted calls

I know of 3 late rifle bull tags that have been hit

You aren't alone. I'm second guessing the choices I picked.

General Questions #3..Hunting Techinques...
GJMauro12 replied to macknnc's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Sometimes there is just no getting closer. Last year I glassed up a buck at 700 yards but right now I am only comfortable out to 500. I was by myself and I was below the deer. He was bedded in a maze of manzanita and above me with no closer advantage point to see him. I was by myself and decided to see what happened if I walked up there. Well after bush whacking thru manzanita for at least an hour I had no clue where that deer was and knew even if I was close he's probably been listening to me force my way up there if he hasn't vacated the area already. Next year I will know my rifle better. Here's a pic of the buck from the 700 yards. Wasn't what I was after but it was getting late in the hunt and I hadn't seen much. I enhanced the color a little bit to make him stand out better. -
That seems like a pretty broad statement probably to help slow the phone calls down. I still think today or tomorrow.

Killed my first cow at 10 and a cow and 4 bulls since then in 16 years. First archery bull was a rag horn in 2010. Tag soup on two other bull tags.

April 18th is the G&F deadline to mail out tags and refund check money. We should definitely see results before then and CC hits before that. Hoping for CC's to start hitting this week.

Sounds like you've listened to Dave Ramsey a time or two.

Anyone think today will be the day?

That is a nice picture of the coyote. I think the only coyote I've had on cam is at night.

I have something like the tinesup but it is made by vortex. Still haven't actually used it though because I wanted to set it up with my video camera. Problem was my video camera is too heavy and I cant keep my tripod locked on the screen with out the camera pulling it down and aiming at the sky. I am guessing I have to get a stronger tripod head but I'm not sure.

Do you know when they called him?

Can you flip it over and charge the other side. Cabellas is asking for a verification code. LoL JK!! JK!!

I was a little frustrated when I had walked an hour and a half down a road one year that only a quad/dirt bike could make it down and when I was almost to the end of the road I looked back and seen two bikes coming. Which doesn't bother me because they had no idea I was there and I was still on the road. But they seen me, I seen them and they stopped so I continued the last quarter of a mile down the road to start glassing. I had expected the bikes to either turn around or glass from where they had stopped but that didn't happen. I get to the end of the road and got set up and probably 10 minutes into glassing I hear the bikes getting closer. They park and walk down the same trail I am set up on to glass. When they finally seen me they acted surprised that I was there even though they seen me walking down the road. Then asked how I got back there and where my gun was..........ummm I walked and its right here. Then wanted to know if I even had a tag. I probably wouldn't of been as frustrated if it wasn't for the ridiculous questions. Sorry if you guys are on here reading this, but it seems to go along with the glassing etiquette topic.
