Called a owl in that must of landed behind the juniper my call was in and walked around to where I could see him. All I could see was the head and ears sticking up and thought it was a bob cat. Took the shot and missed when it took flight and soared right over my head. Pretty sure bobcats don't fly! Lol

Do you mind saying how many points got you that tag? I have been thinking about trying for a Goulds tag and now that I am up to 5 points waiting on a merriams tag. I figured I would just start applying for the Goulds since I have a couple Merriams already.

That's a heart breaker burning 8 points. I would probably give up collecting points if I made that mistake. Really I'm just looking for any excuse to quit collecting points and chase some bulls/cows in easier to draw units.

Got through on call #69. Awesome that it hangs up on me so I have to try to get back through to check the other 5 people I am checking on.
